Easy to install. You need 40mm discharge tubing - try TLC Direct. Works well. The only thing that has blocked it twice is newts getting too inquisitive.

Bought his pump to replace an Oase unit that did not last as long as hoped - given the price.It appears to work well, providing a good flow. The operating instructions specify a monthly cleanout and this certainly seemed needed as there was a plug of weed in the centre of the impeller that would have restricted performance.To get at the inside of the pump is a bit fiddley - there are 4 screws that hold the outer casing together, then the actual pump lifts out and there are a further 3 screws to remove the front of the pump. All well and good but the pump screws need snipe-nose pliers to feed back into place and the casing screws are self-tapper type that screw direct into the plastic - a certain source of thread failure in future and one of mine had already been overtightened and just went round and round; on the first re-assembly.

Sorry its late doing a review been running for a couple of years now. Apart from cleaning the pump it never stops.
