NeakasaM1 Open-Top Self Cleaning Cat Litter Box and Neakasa Cat Pedal Step Stool with Filter Function

I've had this for about a month, running for 3 cats. We have to change the bag about every 4-5 days, which is fine. All 3 cats adjusted to it right away, within 3 days they were using only this box and not the manual one.I'm thrilled with it. I love that it has an open top, so even our giant 12-pound tomcat can fit in easily. No one is afraid or feels trapped, and there's no globe for poop or litter to stick to. It works like a charm and it's easy to change the bag or clean the machine.So far we have had zero problems with this machine. I only wish I had waited until Prime discount days, but I was overwhelmed with cats and really couldn't wait.

I currently have a Litter Robot cat box but suddenly one of my two cats refused to use it for doing her #2 business and started using the floor. I decided it was because the Litter Robot is hooded and that for some reason she became displeased with a hood when trying to do #2. I put out just an ordinary open manual cat box and she immediately went to it and stopped doing her business on the floor so this further convinced me it was the hood that was effecting her. When I saw this cat box that wasn't hooded I hoped this would be the electronic answer. The inside though is a lot smaller than just an open box...she used it a couple of times then again started using the floor for #2. I was in the process of returning it then I decided to give it to a friend who could not afford an electronic box. She absolutely loves this box and her cat is perfectly happy using it. I was glad because I really didn't want to go through the hassle of this bulky return project. Because I have experience with a Robot Litter box I can say Neakasa does not live up in comparison to the Robot in the way the wifi and messaging system works...it's not near as informative. It also never weighed the cats accurately though I set them up in lbs it would show kgs for weight. It was also missing other messaging in comparison. However, for basic functionality it did a good job and if my cat had been willing to use it, I would have kept it because I didn't want to have to manually scoop waste several times a day...but alas that's where I am now. It's pretty big so you need decent space. It's about the same size as the Robot. It's tall so IMO you do need the step which must be bought separately.
