Nice quality
I bought this set for my daughter's birthday. She loved them. I thought they were a really nice set and after she told me why she wanted stainless steel utensils, I will be ordering me a set as well.

BUY THESE!
The utensil set is both pleasing to the eye, as well as durable and effective. They are dishwasher safe and do not melt when cooking on high heats. The silicone has not changed color despite our cuisine involving many spices that are known for discoloration of basically anything in contact- pots, pans, clothes, skin, etc. Also, my kids like stealing my cooking utensils as I’m cooking, and they do crazy things like sword fight, or purposefully smoosh them into the floor, or overall abuse, and the silicone tops have not come off the wooden handle. I have these for about a month now, and I can say each item has been used (and abused) and they are withstanding! I think the price is absolutely right for the quality of this product.

Seems to be real stainless, and so far very reliable.
I got tired of stainless utensils that were really just chrome plated at best, and decided to give these a try. I'm not a professional by any means, but as a home cook, I love to make everything from scratch.I torture tested the slotted spoon in this set by leaving it in a batch of chorizo sausage, which I then forgot in the back of the fridge. Chorizo contains vinegar and tomatoes, so if this stuff was chrome plated, the chrome would be gone at this point (a month). Even after that, it still has the same shine, and cleaned up easily.I haven't broken any of the utensils yet, or even bent them, so that's a good sign. My old utensils have been relegated to being used as bench scrapers, cleaning up my cutting board.

Great option when all-wood or all-silicone isn't right
I'm on a baking spree and finding some gaps in our drawer stock accessories. For example, the silicone scrapers don't seem strong enough where the all-wood options don't make the best stir/scrape tools for that cookie/bread dough. There's a reason the drawer is full of rubber spatulas... I seem to break one every couple months so we have to keep spares around.Instead of buying a couple specific pieces, I though we'd try out this 8-pc kit as we've previously purchased from Home Hero and found their kitchenware works well on our budget. She also wanted to replace some of our all wood utensils having read these degrade and become unsafe and ours are easily 10+ years old. This kit includes:- scraper spatula- scraping spoon- ladle (about 4 oz)- Dip spoon (about 3 oz)- Slotted dip spoon (about 3 oz)- Noodle spoon- flip spatula (about 3-1/4")- slotted spatulaMost pieces run about 12-13" long and each end has a hole for hanging. The silicone goes about 1-3" beyond the working surface so contact space for chef or pan is focused on the wood surface. The wood is tapered and runs about 1/2" - 3/4" thick.... much heavier than the wood utensils in our drawer that have survived. While I'm not familiar with Acacia wood, the seller indicates this can last 40 years... far longer than we'll ever expect to have them in use.Having given these a shot, it seems our original intent of keeping a few and passing on the rest is changed as she wants to keep them all and sort through others in the drawer that can move out. I don't disagree.

Love these kitchen utensils!
It's been just over a year and so far I haven't had anything break, crack, melt or fall apart. The heads don't come off and are all still firmly attached with no way for water or food to get between the head and handle. The handles are wood so it stays cool and won't melt like plastic (plus looks great). I should note I wash them by hand with a tiny bit of soap (dishwashers aren't kind to wood). The only gripe I've had is that the spaghetti ladle doesn't hold a single strand of spaghetti easily (when trying to grab a piece to see if it's done), but really it's for serving and it works wonderfully for that. The prongs are wide enough to put my finger between and it's bowl is wide so it works well for meatballs, ravioli, tortellini and dumplings.
