I have a double coated dog that sheds like crazy and he's a little iffy about a brush, so I decided to give this a try. My dog seems a little confused about what's on my hand but he doesn't hide from this like he does when I get the brush. The glove is easy to use and clean- just put the glove on, pet your animal, and peel the hair off the glove. The only thing I don't like about this glove compared to a brush is that it works more like a broom would. I was expecting the hair to stick to the glove more, but it's really more suited to collecting all the hairs and moving them to one area than it is for actually collecting the fur like a brush would. This caused there to be more hair floating around in the air for me to clean up later than I'd like, but overall my dog was more calm during the grooming process so I'd call it a win.

I wanted something that wouldn't disturb my cat as much or get as much squirmy and balking at loose fur removal. This glove with its soft bristles looked like a good option.The fit is nice and has a handy cinch strap to adjust at the wrist. It has good flexibility and allows me to control it well so my cat feels like he's getting regular pets instead of brushes. It needs a bit of brushing over the cat to build up the fur in the bristles and then works even better. It's easy to just peel that fur out of the bristles.I didn't realize when I bought it, but reversing the glove makes it good for brushing fur off fabric, too. How cool is that?So for the price, its a great value and works well for the reluctant cat who needs a brushing now and then.

I have two short-hair cats. Normally shedding wouldn't be a massive problem with short-hairs, but we live in a 1-bedroom apartment in NYC, so the summers are awful and the hair tends to pile up fast and cause some hairballs as an added bonus. One of my cats HATES being brushed and just won't sit still for it, and the other will only tolerate it for about 5 minutes. So I figured I'd try this. It doesn't pull off as much fur as a regular pet brush, but it does a decent job in my opinion. And both my cats actually sat still for it (one even started purring!), so I'll take the trade-off if it means not having to chase them with the brush. Definitely works better if you wet it down a bit, though!

This is the best brush ever! My cat hates regular cat grooming brushes so she’s always nappy but she really likes this glove. She loves being pet so this glove is like killing 2 birds with 1 stone. I do have to say it’s really annoying to clean and get the hair off the glove because of the silicon and clumps of hair go flying all over but it’s not too much of a hassle. The side that cleans furniture is a love hate relationship; I love the idea that it gets fur off beds/couches but the fur doesn’t stick to the glove all too well when cleaning it makes balls of fur on the furniture which is better than it not working, it’d just be nice if it stuck to the glove so I wouldn’t have to pick the clumps off the furniture. I would definitely recommend to anyone with a cat to at least get the grooming glove not so much the furniture cleaning/ grooming duo glove

Overall great product, but I thought it would be more of a raking tool that forced the fur to one location on the dog then you could collect it from there. Instead with each stroke I had to stop and clean off the gloves. However, it works pretty good, especially for my husky who is notorious for shedding!

I bought and used some beautiful burgundy sheets (off Amazon of course) and within 24 hours my bed was covered with the fur from three cats. I was horrified that my lighter colored sheets never showed this mess and quickly ordered this product to see if it would solve my problem. It did, it takes just a bit of maneuvering to learn to use both sides, but the velvet side pulled all the hair off those sheets with one pass. I was amazed that this product did such a fast and efficient job; but also that I NEVER noticed all this hair. I just ordered a second one for my upstairs living area so I can clean the couches. This product looks a little "cheap", but it works well and two out of three cats enjoy being groomed by this glove.

I have a 100lb chocolate lab, I bought this bc it was a lightning deal. I don't think it is very effective for hair removal for my dog, BUT he loves it so much. He will sit there and let me rub him with the textured side. I think he believes I'm his massage therapist. I would buy again just to make my dog happy with a massage.

I love this glove! My cat really likes the softer bristles on it, and I can brush her fur in either direction (which removes more of her hair) without pulling on it/irritating her. SPRAY THE SILICON SIDE WITH WATER FIRST! I actually like to spray it, then shake the excess water off, then brush my cat, peel the hair off, and start again once the water has been absorbed.I purchased the version of this glove that has one side for grooming, one side for picking up hair from furniture, and they both work great! I ran the furniture-side of this glove over the back of my couch where my cat sleeps and it picked up a ton of hair in just one sweep. I would HIGHLY recommend this glove for anyone that has pets (especially pets with thick fur)!
