Excellent Baluns Lasted Almost 4 years!
I have these connected with 50ft cat6 ethernet cable between them. Running a Zumba ptz on a 40ft tower with no problems for 3.5 years. Then we had a rain storm that blew the door open on the electrical box that housed the transceiver balun, and it shorted it out. Good thing is my 400 dollar camera is still functional! Bad thing is these particular baluns are no longer available as I type this.Bring these back please!Edit: I have Sunba ptz cameras, not zumba! LOL

Thes are great! Love the plug for data connection.
These work like many other baluns of this type with the PLUS of the data connector comes with a plug! This makes it very easy to connect the data wiring. No more fumbling with those two ended splices. Even includes the wiring schematic of the connectors showing you which cat 5 wires carry what signal.Great product to get your analog cameras on cat 5. No more drilling 3/4 " holes to get the bnc connector wiring through all the cable route.I have one on about a 600 ft run, works great, although I have the power to the camera near the camera, not going through the long run. But video and PTZ data work great at that distance.

I used these one a 100ft fun of Ethernet to an analog PTZ camera. Tested the cam with a 4ft jumper at first to confirm it worked with these. Then plugged into 100ft of Ethernet and it turns the camera on but the cam indicated low power.THESE WILL NOT WORK ON 100ft of Ethernet cable. They don’t keep the power they claim they do.
