TVP Replacement for Hoover UH70401 Vacuum Cleaner Dirt Cup Gasket KIT # 562621001

In case anyone ever comes across this looking for the same thing, I got one of these gasket sets hoping that it might also work on a UH72450, since parts for that model are no longer made, and the dirt cup outlet gasket from mine had gone missing. It does and it doesn't work - the round gasket that looks like it might be the same as the missing one from the UH72450 does *not* fit (it's much larger), but the squarish one sort of fits. It sits perfectly around the stem of the part where the gasket goes, and it makes a seal against the lid when it's closed.  The only problem is that it's shallower than the original part would have been, so it falls off really easily.  Still, better than either nothing or a new vacuum.

The vacuum works like it did when it was new. A inexpensive and easy fix.
