FAULTY BATCH WARNING. If your machines mysteriously crashes after installation, I have no doubt it is this memory.
It took 6 months, 3 laptops and 30+ crashes to work out that these memory module are causing all of my problems. I kept moving from machine to machine thinking it was one of the other components, a faulty OS installations or broken platforms.I tried using this in an a existing Windows 8.1 installation, a Mac OSX machine and finally installed on a fresh installation of Windows 10 until I realized this RAM module was the thing causing crashes in every machine.It was also difficult to diagnose as sometimes my machine would last for days, maybe hours or maybe minutes and then just crash. I was unable to discern a real pattern in usage that caused the problem. The only trend I was able to work out was using this memory caused crashes. Unfortunately because it took me soo long to figure it out I can no longer return it....so BEWARE.

PNY is not a bad brand but they have a high fail rate
unreliable products. PNY is not a bad brand but they have a high fail rate. I bought 4 pcs of SODIMM 8GB 1600MHz and 2 are bads!!. I have an Pendrive 128GB USB3.0 Turbo Performance from same PNY and it's bad too. I've bought microSD 32Gb UHS U3 and no problem with them but to talk about RAM memory and USB 3.0 Turbo Flash Drive? it's other case. Does just what it says it will
Well, so far it works great. Improved the performance of my mid-2012 Macbook Pro, I recommend spending a little to get faster performance. RAM really easy to replace, I shake my head in wonder that I didn't do this before now! I chose this brand simply because it got the most positive reviews when I was searching for which brand to use. Not disappointed so far - works great.

Doesn't work for HP Pavilion DV6-3150us laptop
I bought this memory trying to upgrade my laptop from 4GB to the max 8GB. However, I couldn't get this memory to work for my HP Pavilion DV6-3150us laptop. Now I'm stuck with memory I can't use, loss of cash, and going back to the 4GB.

Received a faulty unit first, but the replacement is fine and working well to improve laptop performance. Would purchase again if needed.

Got it for $24 (2x4GB kit) as an upgrade for my aging laptop, between the new RAM and an SSD the laptop got a new life and works fast. Works great, passed memory tests without issues.

Freaking amazing! From 4gb RAM to 8gb RAM
Freaking amazing! Installed it to my laptop and its very happy with it!I can now OPEN MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS and folders VERY QUICKLY compared to before.Digging this very much and also very quick arrival!
