Keeps the water off the floor! I use this solely for my pets water bowl. They are very messy (full face in the water type) drinkers. This does the job spectacularly! I only wish they made it bigger and with a single bowl. But it works great and does what it was intended to do which is keep my floors dry. Also, it looks great! I got the bronze color and it looks beautiful in my breezeway!

Our 70lb golden retriever slopped water 2-3 feet outside his bowl all day long. He was literally ruining our hardwood floors! I hesitated trying this feeder because of the cost, but it is worth every penny! His feeding area is now always totally dry. I simply empty the catch basin every other day and pour several cups of water down the drain that would have been all over our floors without this feeder! Clean floors! No more wet towels! No more mopping floors! This actually works! Perfectly!

We have 2 cats and a dog. The cats are constantly dropping kibble on the floor for the dog to nibble on. Unfortunately some rolls under the dryer and invites other critters. This feeder catches all of the kibble and eliminates the need to constantly vacuum or sweep after our piggy boys. No more uninvited guests.

I love this elevated feeder. I also bought the leg extenders. The bowls are recessed with in the feeder and prevent splashing water or food on the walls. There is a reservoir in case water gets slopped over the side of the bowl. Sturdy. Well made for a plastic feeder. Easy to keep clean. One of the very best pet care items I have purchased in a long time.

Prior to using the Neater Feeder, our dog’s water and food bowls were on a silicone mat. Problem: our dog is an aggressive eater, and I supplement her dry dog food, alternately, with things like sweet potatoes, pumpkin, carrots, green beans, scrambled eggs, or quinoa. All these goodies splattered onto the wall, baseboard, mat and floor as our dog scooted, tipped and licked the bowl trying to get every food particle. Once, she even carried the bowl to her daytime bed in the family room!After two weeks of twice daily meals, no more food splatters or spills, largely because the bowl sits within the upper half of the Neater Feeder, which has an easily cleaned boarder. Bonus, the bowl will spin within the unit, so she can easily lick the entire bowl clean and no longer needs to push it around. She still leaves a trail of water on the floor after drinking, but most of it goes into the drain holes in unit.This might not be fair, but I am only rating this four stars because on the water drips and because the adhesive Neater Feeder label was applied crookedly and has very obvious bubbles and creases. It’s sad that an otherwise high quality product has that kind of issue.

This is a game changer with a cat that likes to play in their water! No more waking up to flooded floors to start my day. No other bowl worked! Great product and highly recommend!

This was just what we needed for our 2 Yorkie babies! They can reach everything without any issues. And best of all, no more spills on the floor. I definitely recommend it.

It does help eliminate or reduce the mess around the dog’s food and water bowls. Good price when compared to some of the other products.
