These lights are very bright, and cast a nice beam, but the mounting system maes it very cumbersome to adjust them, after installation. The two screws that secure the light to the mount are very difficult to access if installed on a bumper, or any location where the light has anything behind it. They are not waterproof, and mine (4 total) developed moisture on the inside of the lens, after their first time being exposed to rain and normal “city speeds”. While they are bright, I would stay away from this style of enclosure and mounting system. Unfortunately, this styl of light isn’t coming with any other style of mounting, or better housings. A simple “U shaped” swivel bracket is a far better mounting option, but isn’t compatible with these.

As far as automotive/vehicle LED lights go price=quality. If you want a good, well made, water proof and bright LED light you're gonna have to put out the extra cash. I've ordered a total of eight of these lights over the years, the first pair I used on my 97 Jeep GC for fog lights, two months later they were filled with moisture and stopped working. I thought maybe when it rains the water is forced inside and also when you spray it with the hose to wash your it, so I decided to get another pair for my golf cart. No moisture inside those yet and later I got four more for my bucket tractor and no moisture in those either. So I've come to the conclusion that these are great bright lights at a good price for off road vehicles that you don't use on a daily basis.

I use these offroad. I have them set at 90degrees to light up side roads. so far they have been in rain mud, and taken a beating from small branches and canes.
