Works great. Have a plug Alexia controls to turn my landscaping lights on. If I used the controller I had I either had to set a time of day or the auto feature. The sensor was in shade so lights came on when still light out. Have it coming on half hour after sunset and off just before sunrise.Love it.

I am a model railroader and I needed a 16 VAC power source with sufficient power to operate several relays at once. This transformer does the job perfectly simply by plugging it into the wall.

It's totally dead. I took a chance and lost. Too bad, it's nice and heavy and seems like something that would last. I hope the vendor responds appropriately.

Bought as a replacement for a fiber optic Christmas tree. Picked up a cord/plug at a local electronics supply, and tree is back in service. Good product.

I've been using several of these for a couple of years. Recently one quit, and as an engineer, I wondered why. I opened up the housing (see photo) and discovered the overcurrent protection is a fuse! A far better solution would have been a resettable fuse (polyfuse), which would automatically reset itself once the overcurrent condition was corrected. These are very inexpensive and could simply replace the fuse that is already there. In the mean time, I strongly recommend adding a fuse of your own. An automotive fuse of 2 amps would work just fine. At nearly $15 each, these power supplies are too expensive to toss out for such an ordinary and simple problem.
