Great for isolating biceps, ensures not using rest of body or "swinging"
This was completely an impromptu buy ("Oh that's interesting, lets buy it and try it out"). However, I'm so happy I purchased it! We're about 25 minutes from our gym, so we've converted a spare bedroom into our home gym for weekday mornings. As such, we're trying to replicate some of the machine workouts at home, which this definitely helps with. As mentioned in my headline, it completely isolates your biceps so that you're focusing on that muscle rather than using swinging or other secondary muscles for curls. My husband is 5'10" and 220 lbs with broad shoulders, and I'm a small framed 5'0" 115 lb and we both can use this easily. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to focus muscle groups and ensure that you have good form.

Don't need a preacher curl stand, just this
Perfect cheaper alternative to help isolate the biceps without another stand hogging space. I started by shopping for a preacher curl stand but ended up with this. You still have to be aware of keeping your back still but it definitely stops any arm swing cheating by locking down your elbows and upper arms.

Arm Blaster
This arm blaster is so amazing! I struggle with my arm workouts and this helps tremendously. I can isolate and concentrate on certain parts better. It’s easy to carry. I use bungee cords to tie to my gym bag and voila. It’s not heavy at all. I was intimidated to use it at first but haven’t looked back since! LOVE it. Shipping was fast and came packaged amazingly well.

Defective, it's upside-down.
Instead of letting your arms rest on the pads, the upside-down design digs into and pinches your triceps. If you flip it upside-down, it works perfectly except for the fact that you can't flip the harness to compensate. I ordered this twice, the first time assuming it was a mistake, the second time realizing that wasn't the case. I would rate lower if I could. Look elsewhere for your arm blaster, RIMSports sells defective ones.

Will do the job.
After using a couple times, it is effective at isolating bicep and tricep movements. The material is solid and padding adequate. The strap and neck padding could be a tad wider but does not affect the performance. I would recommend to others.
