Very useful to prevent tipping over and spilling.
I just received this. Before, I just used a cheap plastic cup and didn’t think much of it, cleaning and throwing it away if it got too dirty on the bottom. Then I read the product description, features, and reviews of this Water Pot and realized that it might contain everything I need. The Pot has grooves on the bottom and sides to clean the brush. How neat! It has slots on the slide to sharpen the brush bristles into a point. Cool! These are neat features that an ordinary plastic cup doesn’t have and should help to make life easier and faster for the modeler.I always worried that my plastic cup left on my desk would tip over, even with a tray underneath. With this Water Pot, I’ve no worries whatsoever. Sure, it might be a tad expensive, but the design really does work. It’s about 3/4ths the size of a coffee mug so it’s large enough to clean brushes. I just place a piece of cardboard or notepad on top to prevent evaporation and have no fears that it would tip over if bumped.

Great product, useful for any painting projects involving a brush and water
I refer to it as old reliable. It works exactly as described. I use it all the time when mini painting. Would recommend to anyone considering. Worth the price

A lot of utility in a small package
I want to first start off by saying u usually sit down and paint several miniatures in a single sitting (painting armies can be this way) and this little mug/cup has a few things that a normal mug doesn't have. One of the key things is that it has a set of groves lining the bottom of the pot that better allow you to agitate excessive pigments out of your brushes. This seems like a small deal but it honestly makes cleaning my brush a bit easier. Another cleaning feature this pot has is that it has slits running up the side of the mug that allow you to straighten and clean your bristles further. These small utilities add a lot of value to this product for me as my original pot was just a normal pot. I'd highly recommend this product to any painter, notice or otherwise.

Stupidly good.
Most people will say that this product is dumb, even stupid, but this is so practical, the bottom and sides help cleaning the pain of the brush and the slides help keeping the brushes sharp, it has two small issues, first, it's plastic so you obviously cannot see how dirty the water is at a glance, and it's a bit small, it doesn't hold as much water as most cups of water or jars. So this solve so many inconveniences I didn't have with a few caveats. Really, a stupidly good product.

Tough little water pot
Great product. Has ledges in the bottom to help clean your brushes with ease as you paint with multiple coats/colors. The little grooves work very well to squeeze the water out of the brush bristles after a wash. Tough little pot too!

Nice
Can be pricey for what it is but it’s nice to have. The ridges at the bottom are great for removing paint and the divots in the side are good for making a nice point on your brush

Actually good
I was really surprised by how good this wash cup is. Ordered it as a joke then Ended up keeping it because it really works. Especially with the slots cut out on the side to control the amount of water/moisture in brushes. Plus it's sturdy unlike the plastic cup I was using that I continued to knock over which is kinda the reason for the joke thing above and leading up to the purchase. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good wash cup.

Great purchase
My boyfriend is always painting miniatures for warhammer and would use just a small Tupperware bowl to clean his brushes, he goes thru brushes like crazy because he can never keep them clean enough. He loves this water pot, says the ridges inside are perfect for getting all the excess off, it’s easy to clean, and he’s not afraid it may tip over. He would have never bought this for himself since he thought what he was using was working fine, but now that he has this he said he wish he would have gotten one sooner
