NZXT Technologies HALE90 V2 850W ATX12V/EPS12V Modular 80 Plus Gold Power Supply NP-1GM-0850A

Fully modular, quiet and well designed. I bought this to go with my NZXT Vulcan case. Not having to deal with all the extra wires, in the mATX case, is very nice. It made cable management easy. I've been using is for a couple months now and I have zero complaints.

NZXT has great customer service, this is the only reason why there are 2 stars. I purchased the 850W PSU in January, and it failed in June. NZXT honored their warranty and replaced it with an upgraded PSU, which failed the moment I turned it on (I was on the phone with NZXT installing it when it happened). They found another 850W and sent that to me, but that failed a month later. I would not recommend this product, however, their towers/cases have been great, as well as their customer service.

Very disappointing. Exactly one month from purchase, it fail on me. Computer starts to have random complete shutdown a week ago. Took it out place into another rig to verify problem. It worked again... Great put it back in. The next week, problem occurs again. Complete shutdown, and it try to start up again, and shutdown, over and over again.Try to isolate the problem, by unplugging each component (HD's, USB etc.). Finally took the NZXT out, swap in my old Antec PSU, everything works great...AS IT SHOULD BE!.Keep in mind, all of this is a pain and complete waste of time. Since I've done a complete wire organization in my rig. All of that time and efforts....Taking my refund and going to Corsair or Thermaltake. I rather have a black PSU then a crappy one that fails with zero reliability.BEWARE, read other feedbacks; this is not one isolated problem.

It looks pretty. Would have gone great with my white nzxt switch. Unfortunately it was DOA. Sent it back to amazon and got an ax860i which has a self test switch. I'm new at pc building but whoever reads this, test the power supply first before install. Most pry already know that but you live and learn.

I have two of these rolling along on crate miners. Over a month now at near rated power and no issues.It comes with a massive pack of cables. Pick the only the ones you need and keep the bundle to a minimum.The main power cord is seriously hefty. It must be 10 or even 8 gauge. It even uses a 16amp rated IEC-C19 connector at the supply, not the usual PC style 10amp power plug. Contrary to popular belief, you burn up supplies and boards from lack of power, not too much. Make sure your circuit can supply enough juice to this mama!

Failed after a year of medium use. 2 stars because NZXT honored their warranty.

what a p.o.s.installed in a new build and failed after 2 hours of use.will power up and then just shuts itself off every 2 to 10 mins.Update:I received a replacement power supply today and installed it in the machine. This was dead out of the box. Tried a third power supply from another maker and it works great. So much for NZXT.Amazon handled the exchange and subsequent refund with no problems at all.

I had the pleasure of listening to this alone and it's so quiet! I've been using it for a few weeks now and so far no problems.
