Awesome transformation of the Master!
This is the fifth book in the Inside Out Series and should not be read out of series order. This book continues the story of Mark and Crystal begun in the novella The Master Undone which was then continued in the novellas My Hunger and My Control. Though this book can be read as a standalone having read the novellas will enhance the reading.I’ll admit that I did not like Mark Compton at the beginning of the series but there is so much more to this man than we ever realized. I was intrigued by him from the glimpses of the inner man in the novellas but here all I can say is WOW! We finally learn what drove Mark to become the master of control that he’s been. Ten years ago a horrific event changed the course of his life. Now with the loss of Rebecca and the cracks her love made to his armor and a killer on the loose intent on further harm he struggles for the control that has defined him. Yet there is one place that he finds peace, in the arms of a woman who can never be a submissive, a woman that challenges him at all levels; a woman that sees the man inside, a man no one has seen for a decade. It is time for Mark to face the pains of the past and what they led to in the present. It is time for him to heal. “What we deny owns us. You can’t control what you don’t first own and face. You simply delay the moment it owns you.”Mark and Crystal were drawn to each other because of difficult circumstances but there is more to it than that. They are kindred spirits. There is a deep connection between two souls who have both known horrors in their life, a shared understanding of pain and a desire to ease that pain. I found Crystal to be highly empathic with a deep wisdom born of her own traumas. Her presence in his life at this time and her words lead the Master to epiphany.“You’re not going to ask even one of the many questions I know you have?” “No. You don’t need questions. I think . . . I think you need answers that only you can give. We find those answers in our own way that we can live with, or we don’t find them at all.” There’s a flicker of something dark in my mind, a brief flashback that I shove aside before it takes hold of me. Yet another confirmation that the past absolutely owns me, and has for too long. This reader loves character growth and we see it in both these protagonists. We get both points of view which enabled us to see their inner turmoil and to feel with them. It is not just Mark that finds healing. As she does for him, he does for her. Both their histories are heartbreaking. This is the story of two imperfect individuals that together learn to trust, to be honest in a way they have never been with another, and in so doing find their own perfection. With seductive words that keep you turning the pages, and a captivating storyline wrapped up nicely Lisa Renee Jones finishes the series wonderfully though there will be one more mini-novel to come which this reader is really looking forward to.I describe this series as awesome romantic suspense that I found mesmerizing. There is lots of sexiness and a storyline that just doesn’t quit with many twists and turns that rivet your attention. And in case anyone is wondering Mark is still and will always be the Master, it is in his blood but there is more to a Master than just control.ARC supplied by the publisher via NetGalley.

If you've been following this series since the beginning like me, this is the book that you have been most anticipating! Throughout the entire Inside Out Series, we've gotten a little taste of who Mark is. Finally, we get a whole book from his pov and hopefully answers to all of our questions.I Belong to You picks up right where My Control ends. Mark is on his way to New York to be with his mother as she fights her battle with cancer. As if that wasn't enough, Ava is still on the loose, he has to deal with closing Allure and make sure his scandal doesn't cause anymore trouble..... But there is another pressing reason that brings him to New York. One that Mark can't ignore and that is Crystal Smith. Crystal Smith is everything that Mark never knew he wanted. She is unlike any woman that he's ever met and he finds himself constantly throwing out his own rules for her. There's just something about her that he just can't fight. She sees Mark for who he truly is, the man, not The Master. Mark is fighting an internal battle with himself to not only protect Crystal and his family, but to have something he desperately needs, control.........I have to say, I was super excited that Mark and Crystal were getting their own book. I loved getting inside Mark's head, understanding his need for vengeance and the guilt that has plagued him for years. We finally get to see The Man behind the constant facade. And then there's Crystal. I've been fascinated by her character for a while now. She is stubborn, passionate and needs to have her own control of things. Definitely an interesting match for Mark. I loved watching the two of them butt heads and try to fight their desire for each other. Their chemistry is undeniable and completely off the charts. They are truly the perfect match. As the series is coming closer to an end, we are finally getting some answers to questions that I've had since the series began. Do I still have some questions? Yes, I do. I know that there is some issues that are still unresolved, but I have hope that those questions will be answered very soon.I have really enjoyed the mystery and intrigue that surrounds this story. There certainly was never a dull moment and I'm always wondering what will happen next. This has been one exciting journey and I can't wait to see where Lisa Renee Jones will take us next!*I received a copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*

Mark and Crystal....explosive
We finally get more Mark and Crystal!Mark has felt out of sorts for so long. Rebecca’s death and the events that followed really turned his life upside down and he’s been struggling with finding himself. Crystal came into his life and changed his view on things. She is everything he never thought he’d want or need. She is still refusing to submit to him and he’s determined that she’ll call him Master.Mark is still convinced that he needs to get her away from him, at least until the danger that is Ava is no longer hovering over their lives. But Crystal is just as determined as he is and she will not be intimidated into running away. She loves Mark’s mother and will not abandon her in her time of need.Mark and Crystal begin to get closer, despite the fight they have with themselves over their feelings for each other. She is independent and extremely strong-willed, but she knows how to push his buttons and bring out the man no one has seen. They complement each other very well and learn to trust each other. This book showed us a Mark Compton who loves deeply and is protective of those he loves. It showed us he needed a very strong woman who could match him in temperament, yet still be willing to yield in bed, where he needed that control. Both Mark and Crystal grew throughout the story, allowing us to feel with them and see how they learned from each other.I enjoyed this installment of the series as Lisa Renee Jones continues to write beautifully and captivates us with a plot and characters that we can become engrossed with.

I’ve really enjoyed reading from Marks POV and understanding him, how he became how he is. Also loves getting to know Crystals character. Ava is still on the run and but they’re starting to close in. Definitely recommend this book

I belong to You
Finally we get to the secrets of Mark Compton.I loved the way this story evolved and tied up a lot of loose ends and continued from the novellas that were from Mark's POV, I would highly recommend that you read these before I belong to You, as it gives the backbone of this continuing journey of Mark'sIt is still a hot read that we've come to expect and hope for from Lisa and fantastically written, well worth the wait and I can't wait to see how the final book about Chris and Sara's wedding finishes it all off
