Aptly named
This drink is aptly named HINT, as it has a hint of flavor. I read several complaints in reviews about the flavor, but needed a sugar free drink for one of my children. All of my kids like all the flavors that come with this pack. No, it is not as sweet and full of flavor like other juice boxes out there, but I have even tasted all of them and like them. They are perfect for packing in school lunches, a quick drink at home, and even work great for camping drinks for the kids. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a zero sugar drink for kids!

Bad taste
Having never written a review, I just had to for this one. I have never tasted Hint water, the concept seemed good, no sugar added great for kids. I bought a case of this for my grandchildren. When I received the product I decided I would try a taste. I have to tell you it was not good. There is diffently a after taste to this, fake sugar. There is nothing in the ingredients that says it has. It also leaves a burning sensation in your mouth and throat, like when taking cough medicine. I will not give this to my grandchild to drink.

Hint Kids Water
Hint is a good name for this because really there is just the smallest suggestion of flavor in these. Barely a flavor, however if you are looking to have more water but your toddler must have some flavor, this is a good choice. It tastes fine for the most part, just don’t expect flavor to be strong.

BEST "juice" box for beginners
These are GENIUS. Flavored water with no sugar (fake or real) or anything weird added. The no sugar means that my 1 year old can squeeze these and get them all over the floor and himself with no stickiness. He LOVES practicing fine motor skill with these fruity water boxes. And they're so convenient. Grab and go. No cleaning or losing a sippy cup. There is NOTHING else like this on the market and I hope they never discontinue this product. I went to college for speech language pathology and these are fabulous. We do Montessori as well and these allow for a lot of independence and skill building. We call it juice because we don't let him have sugar. He'll be 2 in a few months and he's just now getting the hang of putting the straw in and not squeezing too hard. I keep one everywhere - stroller, diaper bag, changing table, fridge, backyard, EVERYWHERE. The fact that it doesn't get sticky means I don't need to jump up and clean him and the house OR get one of those juice box holder things. These are a HUGE treat for him because he loves playing with them and feeling independent. I am shocked that these aren't 5 stars. From the viewpoint of teaching, entertaining, and hydrating a young toddler then these are worth their weight in gold. Maybe an older kid who has had real juice might not like them. But for a kid in his late 1's or 2's these thing are wonderful teaching tools that my son adores. If he's having a tantrum, I can give him a "juice" and he's immediately engrossed in playing with it. He's always covered in water by the end but who cares? That's learning and he loves it. No muss, no fuss. Great product. Maybe they need to market it differently so people know how to best utilize it.

We love these, but...
We love the hint drinks. I don’t love sugary drinks, so I should preface my review with that. I had been purchasing the honest juice boxes, which are essentially watered down juice, but I stumbled upon these and now I drink these. Two out of my three kids drink these on a 50/50 basis with the honest juice boxes. They like all the flavors, as do I. While drinking, you won’t taste a lot, it’s more the aftertaste when the flavors hit you. Apple is similar to an apple jolly rancher, watermelon is similar to a watermelon jolly rancher, and I haven’t tried the cherry or berry ones, but my kids like them. They have larger bottles with more flavors available... my personal favorite flavor being the pineapple.Long story short is, if you’re looking for something sweet/sugary, this probably isn’t going to satisfy you. If you are like me and enjoy Lacroix, aha, bubbly, and all the other brands of flavored sparkling water, but don’t like carbonation, you’ll probably love these like we do. I don’t drink soda, it is sickly sweet to me, and if I’m drinking juice, it’s likely a naked brand smoothie type thing, and I only sip those... sweet drinks just aren’t my thing. My biggest issue with these is the cost. Not sure why uncarbonated water with a smidge of flavor is more expensive than flavored sparkling water and/or juice boxes.
