Pro Quality….
I absolutely love this thing!! I was very close to pulling the trigger on the Road Runner and I’m glad I didn’t. This one was more money but well worth it. “Buy once, cry once”. I heard there was some QC issues with these but I also heard Gator addressed and corrected them. I had no problems and IMO, this is a rock solid piece of gear. Worthy of any tour if that’s what you do.

DO NOT BUY THIS
First of all, I never write reviews - but buyers need to be aware of this.I have used Gator cases for years and assumed their name was synonymous with quality. That is not so with this case. The design is ingenious but the quality (or lack thereof) leaves me stunned and pissed off - so much so that I'll be using custom cases or at least SKB from now on. Look at those pics. A case that sells for $365.00 should not be basically stapled together with the smallest nails possible. I bought this case for road use. After we hit the road for a three month tour, I ended up only using three guitars - so I just used a Hercules stand. This Gator case was only used ONCE. When we got back home I opened it up and it fell apart (smashing my finger in the process). So, I will be spending the day trying to creative put it back together in a way it will hold - something I thought I paid Gator for. There is absolutely NO EXCUSE for putting this on the market.

New version has been updated
I was skeptical of buying this based off of people’s issues with them seeming to break because of poor construction but I took a chance on it. I’m very happy with it! It seems rock solid. I compared mine to previous pics in the reviews and Gator definitely seemed to update these stands to have heavy duty screws holding it together now instead of the wimpy nails previously mentioned.

Great case but heavy
I'm a working musician, I carry three guitars and often play on a cramped stage where there isn't much room. This does a great job, but it's really heavy, 24 lbs. Impressed with the sturdiness.

One minor design flaw - otherwise a great case.
This is a great case, with 1 design flaw. The top section of the stand, mounted on the lid of the case, is nailed with skinny nails and should be redesigned. The nails had been pulled right through the case lid and was completely detached when it was received.I didn't return it because as I said, it is a design flaw and would be the same on a replacement.I fixed it by adding a 1x2 screwed into the lid - then screwed the top part of the stand to the 1x2. I painted the 1x2 to make it look like the original design.See pictures.

"Shattered" was almost this bands tour name
I ordered this for my band base player Sin Quirin from "Lords of Acid." I was very specific I needed it at my house in Arizona by February 21. They were leaving for tour that day. I got the Gator Case in on the day the tour started. Sin Quirin opened it up, and the entire rack and stand that folds up, to hold six guitars, was shattered. The entire thing was useless and it was the weekend. Every night they were going to be singing in a different state, now with no stand for the guitars they go through in one night. It was a nightmare. When I called Amazon, they couldn't help me. Gator Cases was closed on the weekend, and I never heard a thing from them, which was odd, as this mess affected a major rock band. I wound up having to be super resourceful myself, with the help of a local music store for the next town they were going to be in. Amazon gave me no help. Gator Cases gave me -no help. Less than minus no help since they never called me.

Great case, kind of pricey but worth it.
After seeing a few different brands of this type of case owned by acquaintances, I took a chance an purchased this one.THIS CASE IS MUCH STURDIER. More costly, but in my eyes well worth it.

Great stand!
Works very well. Holds my guitars securely in place and they do not bang in to each other.
