Love the paneer texture
I am a vegetarian in a rural area of the USA. It can be difficult to find variety and affordable food options. So, I try out things online. This is not my usual brand, and the taste seems a bit off (but every brand is noticeably different to me). Still, it was very tasty, and I really like the squeaky texture of the paneer. The price is much better than comparable brands found locally, which makes this my new go-to option.

Best palak/saag paneer
While i dont think its perfect i do think its close enough to tweak it that way. So it is essentially the perfect base although ive tasted tastier and creamier spinach but they got other things way worse. For me just a little of my own spices, lemon juice and semi cooked mustard green will be all it needs to be superb.Jyoti made a canned saag. the only green vegetable that tastes delicious strait from a can.I will lower this score to a 4 if i find something that knocks it out of the park without adding anything

Super Tasty when Piping Hot, Handy and Quick to Cook
Really enjoy these tasty quickly available to prepare veggie packets. Hope they don't have a million chemicals in them. Since they appear to come from India, this food seems cultural and real. Am glad I purchase this brand regularly since I know they are a good value with quality ingredients and great taste for Saag Paneer.

Spicy, good amount of paneer
Really like spinach, love paneer, and the convenience of these pouches. These are yummy! A little spicy for me but wouldn't be for anyone used to spicier foods so I'd consider this "mild" though there are no heat rankings on the package. Wish more of these types of pouches had that, it's very helpful! Also wish I could nuke these pouches, but that could be why the lower price (thirteen or so at last purchase). Great to have on hand, easy to cook. I usually make a little mess trying to squeeze the contents (which are a thick, rich consistency) into a bowl but doing it in the sink really helps keep it minimal. Don't want to lose any of it! Microwaves easily in a minute, definitely cover it! Great with naan or over rice or noodles. Slight kick for me but so good it's worth the burn. Also, the paneer is great. Large chunks of deliciousness. Not like making your own but still, oh so good.

Best saag paneer
I love Indian food but don’t have the time nor patience to make it at home. This is a budget-friendly alternative to ordering takeout. Great for those sharing the office microwave — no strong curry smell! Not overly spicy but still has a flavorful heat kick.

Tasty but unhealthy & ripoff price.
This product is very authentic and has a great taste.Check the nutritional value carefully. This is not a healthy product..The nutritional chart not only contains many very unhealthy levels. But then states it’s for one portion with two portions in the bag.The value is horrible in relation to the portion even if there was no health concerns.I had to throw them all out.

Best alternative to Trader Joe’s brand
I am unabashedly addicted to Palak Paneer, specifically the Trader Joe’s frozen version. The issue with this is TJ’s has had a stock issue with their brand of this product for months, and it has been impossible to find. I bought Jyoti Saag Paneer on a whim without high hopes, as the only other non-frozen bagged paneer I’d tried previously was terrible. I was extremely pleased however as both the saag and paneer are actually better than TJ’s. More spice, more flavor, and better quality cheese. My only complaint is the relatively high cost per bag ($5 apiece), but the quality is worth it. Will definitely be ordering more.

Terrible Taste
These are truly nasty. Saag paneer is one of my favorite foods ever. I understand that it's hard to make a pre-packaged version that will be anywhere as good as fresh, but these are really terrible. Trader Joes has a prepacked version which isn't great but is at least a bunch better than these. Despite my love for saag paneer in general, I don't even know if I'll be able to eat the rest of the shipment.
