I bought this as a gift for my niece. It is absolutely charming. It has a hauntingly beautiful tune, it rotates as it plays and there are lights that change colors. It is a very nice gift. I don't know how long it will hold up, but I assume if handles gently will last a long time.

This is just so beautiful, our daughter loved it as a special birthday gift from mom. It will require gentle handling, but is surprisingly sturdy. The horses on the edges feel a little flimsy, but it would be perfect for an older child or an adult. The music is clear and pleasant and the lights turned on. They really show off the globe. This is a calming item to place near an older child’s bed for its looks and for the peace it gives while playing. Priced very well for what it is.

I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas and she loved it. At 2 y/o she was quickly able to learn to wind it up...she just needs help turning the lights on and off. I have a larger one I will give her when she's older but wanted one that wouldn't cause panic if she breaks it a little. The music is beautiful and the lights are pretty too.

The detail on this is so nice and my daughter loves it. It has music and lights! Also when you turn it on, it keeps the Glitter and stars moving around as the castle spins. Really pretty and 10 out of 10 would recommend!

This would be a perfect review, but I didn't like that this uses button batteries for the lightup feature. Button batteries can be life threatening to small children, and I have 2. The battery cover also popped off so easily that it came off by accident while winding it up. However, it's an easy fix. I just took them out, so it won't light up anymore, but can always put them back in when my children get a little older. Otherwise, this is a very cute music box. My oldest daughter likes to listen to it while falling asleep.

Loved it

I bought this for my 5 year old niece and she absolutely loved it. She loved watching it spin around and the song that it played. She even asked her dad to set it on her night stand so she could play it every night before she went to sleep. It is small, but perfect for a child. I'm hoping it will turn into a keepsake to be passed down to someone special in her life.

The media could not be loaded. Just incredible. We knew the carousel was going to be beautiful but wow. The reviews were all great so we took a chance and have never been happier. The sound on my phone is not great and does not do this song justice. I don’t have enough words to explain the 5 star rating. We got it for our daughters 6th birthday and I have a feeling it will be a treasure she passes down to her (possible) kids or keeps dearly forever. She adores it more than any other possession and she’s only owned it for a few hours!
