best eva model kit
genuinely this was the best evangelion model kit i’ve built. it uses rubber/silicone for the joints, making sure no joint is too loose or stiff. this is the first kit i repose often because of how stable and fun it is! not to mention the plastic quality is great, it has a nice shine and the eva looks so show accurate!there’s so many little things that come together to make this a near perfect kit, i only had an issue with the stickers, which is fine i just used gundam markers to do that detail instead :)

Lots of pieces
Bought for my son for Christmas. He loves it. But beware, lots of pieces to put together. Will need wire cutter to get the pieces. Took over 4 hours to put together and the directions are in Japanese. There are numbers for the steps. Once you get your bearings, it wasn’t too bad.

Great Model
The Unit 02 it's awesome on it's own, the model comes into pieces which they're into labelled grids A B C D and so on. The package include a manual, in japanese (all of it) but it's very easy to follow even if you have never put models together, gundams and so forth. It's different that the other 2 models (unit 00 and 01) i've put together so far, it doesn't feel as solid as the other two, also they put way too many stickers for part that they could have been made that color. It does not require paint unless you want to look exactly like the Anime. But if you do want to paint it, the manual gives you a color guide (in japanese) also you need some steady hands, some parts are very small. The pieces snap into places, you don't really need glue but I would suggest using it on it's hands, specially if you want to add a weapon. This is not a toy, definitely a model not meant to play with, granted it is fun to pose it and such, right now i have it displayed at work with unit 01 and working on 00 right now. I like to switch their position once a month sometimes more often for the fun of it.It's not super easy to dust, so i recommend getting a case for them or like the air duster keyboard cleaner does the trick for me!I like the Bandai Models way more than the Revoltech, they're also bigger, Bandai are about 12 inches while Revoltech are 8 or so, they also feel more solid, although you can recreate more pose with revoltech...

I love the new Eva kits
I love the new Eva kits, they're easy to complete but with some nifty design choices and amazing display possibilities! I'll probably end up getting an Eva 01 Rebuild ver, too!

it is very good looking and it is a very awesome building experiment ...
it is very good looking and it is a very awesome building experiment for me, however, the reason why i gave a three star is because I placed all my parts by alphabetical order and could not find the PC-7 which is for the additional shoulder weapon thingy, for that, I had to use superglue to glue those pieces on. first, it is really messy, of course I cannot blame that part on you, but it makes the part impossible to twist. but its not really affecting the outlook of the model, just a little bit imperfect.

Birthday/Christmas Surprise
I had bought this for my fiance last year as i believe both a birthday and christmas gift. He is huge fan of the anime series and he collects figures/statues. So far this is his favorite out of the other ones made. Worth the buy and would definitely buy again for diorama! Its still doing well after a year so let hope we can get many more out of it!

Too complicated
My son absolutely loves die cast figurines. This one was just a waste of money for how it came. The quality of the pieces were all plastic. The entire instructions came in Japanese. There was no color to the instructions so it was confusing if the correct part was being selected. Pieces weren't the correct size/fit. Eventually, it wasn't worth all the time trying to put it together.
