Everything you need in one neat package!
I ordered the FSJEE 10mm 4-pin solderless connector kit to upgrade and tidy up my home RGB LED strip lighting, and it’s proven to be a fantastic little kit. Whether you're a beginner in DIY lighting or someone who regularly works with LED setups, this kit makes life so much easier.Straight away, the first big win is that it's truly solderless — no faffing about with wires, soldering irons or heat shrink tubing. Everything connects with simple clip-on mechanisms, which makes customising or extending your setup a breeze. The clips feel firm and well-made, not flimsy or prone to breaking like some cheaper kits I’ve tried before. The kit includes everything you'd expect and then some — an L-shape and T-shape connector for turning corners and creating branches, a 2-way splitter, a generous 6.6ft extension cable, and plenty of joiners for standard in-line connections. It’s a proper toolkit rather than just a bag of random connectors.Installation was smooth. I used it to split a 5m RGB LED strip around a room and run a section under some kitchen cabinets, and everything worked first time. The extension cable was long enough to reach under the counter without needing any DIY splicing. The connectors clip onto 5050 strips easily — just make sure to line up the polarity correctly (the arrows or "12V" labels help). The quality of the materials is decent — the wires are thick enough to handle power without voltage drop, and the plastic housings hold everything securely. I’ve had no issues with flickering, signal loss or dimming — and that includes running through corners and tight bends. One minor tip: the strip needs to have exposed copper contacts, so if your LED strips are waterproof or coated, you’ll need to peel or trim back the silicone. That’s standard with any solderless connector, though — not a flaw of the product. The packaging was well-organised, with each part in its own pouch, and there’s even a simple instruction sheet included to guide you through basic setups.Overall, this kit is fantastic value and covers most configurations you’ll run into with RGB strip lighting. Whether you're repairing, extending or just tidying up an installation, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. It saved me loads of time and hassle!

Works well
These have worked well with my LEDs that I’ve stuck to the back of my TV and cabinet. Sometimes the pins inside them are squashed down so you can’t fit the LED strip in, but I found a nail or toothpick works to pry them up and then squash them back down again. Another annoyance is that the pins need to be lined up correctly (ie +RGB to +RGB, not +RGB to BGR+), so I found some corners don’t work… you need to plan ahead! So far I’ve only found one L connector to not work, all others seem to be doing their job well.

1 out of 3
Bought 3 sets. 1 set works great. Second set doesn't go red. Third set has small section that goes all colours then it goes just green from there

Unreliable
The product kit supplies all the required components for RGB led strip light connections. However it is very important to know that these components are effective on exact led strip dimensions and not suitable for any strip light that has protective IP silicone /rubber coatings (water or splash proof types). The connection joints are a snap on type and any single movement or adjustment In IP rated strip lights will cause different resistance across the contact points which will cause incorrect colour operation or failure to illuminate. If you need for e.g 7 meters led rgb strip light that required 2 external 90 degree right angles along the installation run, then either purchase fully attenuation composition rgb strip lighting (allows you to bend in half and tie a knot in it ) as it is not a flat or oval led strip design. Or purchase 4 individual 2 meter pre fabricated led strip and install them in 2 meter lengths starting from each corner and use cat 5 cable to wire them individually back to the led driver then purchase a driver/power pack and remote controll separate and connect in parallel. This will allow the driver to fail over time instead of the led strip lights which would be more expensive to replace and fault find. Please do not hesitate to contact me if customers require further assistance or advice on the correct installation methods and control equipment selection based on the lighting project they wish to install.LED lights are semi conductor components which change their electron structure based on power inputs and power consumption and 80 % of led lighting installations fail within 3 -months due to incorrect design and election methods which is costly and also very inconvenient and troublesome especially if you have installed the works for a customer who has paid for the works.I have calculations based on the temperature of the area selected for led lights , length of runs , thermal drop due to incorrect led wattage loadings and minimise volt and current drop.It may appear daunting at first with all the requirements and pre fabricated kits are an easy option to select, however cutting these pre made strips can cause premature failure due to the standard power pack supplied in the kits.My advice is to purchase either 1 meter or 2 meter pre connected coils of led strip lights as they come with both ends soldered for either linking another strip light to them or cutting in half which then gives you 2 sets of strips with soldered ends for book cases and stairs etc. If the total length of the led strip lights that is say 30 meters bit is divided into 10 separate zones (areas to be lit up)Then purchase a constant voltage transformer based on the design power consumption calculations for the total wattage of all connected led lights and connect this to a 30 amp high current rgb controller with 4 outputs on it and connect the 3 separate zones (area of lights) to the output side with cat 5 cabke which then feeds each led strip and zone. This installation will then consist of cat 5 cable runs only to all led points and does not require power packs rgb etc at each zone and has 1 voltage transformer and 1 rgb controller which will operate all the led lights and zones in sequence from remote controll or elexa .By understanding the led installation requirements is the most important part of the installation and this must be done right and will save you so much time and finances with ease of access and controll and limits faults and fault finding to a minimum plus minimum control and power equipment is used.It is very easy and rewarding if and only if calculations and correct controll equipment have been designed, selected and installed correctly.andylee2008@live.co.uk

Excellent kit of connectors
Fantastic set of connectors for LED light strips. I read some of the negative reviews on here about the connectors being a bit unreliable but I've use them on two different 5 meter LED strips which I've had to split up to do what I want with them. My cupboard and shelf unit (photographed) needed a 5 meter strip split into five lengths then connected using the splitter cable, corner connectors and short connecting cables. They all worked perfectly. The kit comes with screws and clips to affix the connectors and cables but I didn't have to use any of them. The connectors can be a little bit fiddly so if you have any issues just make sure you are getting good contact across all 4 pins. Overall I'm very happy with this kit, it did exactly what I needed it to without issues.
