Clear PLA is also pretty much the best PLA
**Update** I have a recent lightsaber project I'm putting together for my friend and tried out the silver PLA, and once again got pretty impressive results. Didn't need to do anything crazy, standard 200/60 temps and a PEI steel sheet to print on top of. The results came out really clean and I'm really pleased. Based on this I can vouch for the basic color blends as well as the clear.**If you're looking for a clear PLA that can print like glass, this one gives pretty good results. You will have to tweak your printer settings and use 100% infill in order to get there- consult youtube and websites like printables for more info. Some experimentation is probably necessary for this. What I really wanted to talk about is how good this specific blend of PLA is to print compared to most other PLAs I've ever tried. This material is not only strong (bending in the "weak direction" perpendicular to the layers this is only mildly less strong than certain tough PLA+ blends), but most importantly it prints with a consistency that outclasses most other PLAs I've tried. There are two prints specifically that highlight how good this material is for intricate or tough to print structures. A print in place MicroSD box (a popular design on thingiverse and printables), and a replica rollcage. You will notice on these websites that the PIP MicroSD box is extremely hard to print, with many people unable to get the arms to move because they've fused or are dimensionally inaccurate. I had this problem while trying my vast array of Flashforge, Inland, Creality and other filaments, but the one that did work on the first try with zero fuss and no fiddling on my ender 3 V2 was the Sunlu Clear. After printing with default no tweak printer settings, it just worked with the arms freely moving after I popped it off the bed. Similarly, I've had a heck of a time trying to print the rollcage design with other filaments, and even with Cura's revised tree supports they did not come out right. The vertical bars sometimes messed up and either failed completely or looked saggy or goopy. Frustrated after several hours of trying different settings and in particular wasted PLA, I took out the Sunlu Clear and it printed first try, and in fact it probably didn't need any supports at all except for the rear horizontal bars. Basically perfect out of the box. I never had to do anything crazy to print this material, just set the printer to 200 deg F and the bed to 60 deg bog standard settings and just let it go.I have to assume that this is likely because the clear contains less fillers than any colored blend. Regardless, if you are looking to print some complex and tough models, I would recommend giving this a try.

Print Like You Mean It
Alright, let’s not pretend this is your first spool. If you’re buying 10 kilograms of PLA, you’re past the "Benchy" phase and fully in the “I just printed a wall mount, a cable holder, and a sword this week” zone. This SUNLU bulk bundle? Absolute value. Period. You’re getting 10 full kilograms—not janky mini spools or “bonus half reels.” These are solid, 1kg-per-roll full-size reels in a good color mix (unless you went with black/white packs). And let me tell you: for the price? The consistency is shockingly solid.I’ve been through 30+ SUNLU spools across printers—Ender 3s, Sovol SV06, and even my modded Voron—and it prints clean. No excessive stringing, no bubble drama, and minimal moisture absorption if you store it right (ziplock + silica = golden).Real-World Print Tests:Temp sweet spot: 200–210°C on most nozzlesBed adhesion: PLA classic—no glue needed on PEI or glass with 60°CTolerances: Dimensional accuracy is spot-on. I’ve printed gears, enclosures, and even a few GoPro mounts—everything fits.Layer lines: Smooth with a proper profile—better than some pricier brands, not even kiddingWhat I Like:Massive value without sacrificing reliabilityFilament is dry, well-packed, vacuum-sealed like it’s prepped for long-term storageSUNLU color quality is clean—not translucent cheapo stuffSpools are labeled clearly (bless them)

Great buy
Great filament no issues printing on multiple printers. works great on AMS and looks perfect

Good print quality, but many lost prints due to filament breakage
Pros: Very nicely wound, and the spool itself is great. The print quality is also good, as is the color - it is pure white.Cons: I have had a number of breaks in the filament when entering the printer's bowden tube. I have had no less than 8 cases of this and my spool still has a little more than 1/3 of the spool left.It has been dried and kept in a drybox, from which it is directly printed. I have no idea why this damn spool keeps breaking constantly, but it is really annoying, and I have not had any other material be this bad about breakages. Either they sent me a really old spool that had been sitting on a shelf, or this is just not good material.

Works great with BambuLab
We purchase these to put in our BambuLab printer. It fits great and quality is fine. Haven’t had any issues. Like that there’s several colors to choose from.

Works well and a heck of a value with the spool
So far so good with great print quality on my P1p. I like the reusable spool and it seems to run well on my AMS.

Perfect black PLA. Always consistent quality
Continue to buy from this brand as their quality and finished product is better then others. Being that they continue to use plastic spools keeps me coming back to them as they work best in a multi material setup such as my AMS from Bambu labs. Never have tangling issues either with them.

Mediocre. Slow to heat.
I normally buy Overture filament for prints on my FLSUN V400. I picked up a couple of spools of this Sunlu black PLA probably because it was on sale. It took a long time to dial in properly, with more crappy, failed prints than I have experienced in years. The photo shows infill that was too fast or not hot enough. These settings work with several other brands, so it was disappointing to have to step backwards.I had to turn up the temp to 225C which seems high for PLA and risks stringing. I also had to reduce my infill speed from 350mm/s, which I use with Overture filament, down to 250mm/sec(!!!) with this Sunlu filament. Any higher and the extruded filament would not adhere, chunk up and leave blobs all over. Not good as the head would crash on the next layer. I think the composition of this plastic does not heat or melt as quickly as any other budget PLA I have used. This is not at all high-speed. Once heated up and slowed down, the resulting print quality is good, but I will be happy when I have used this Sunlu filament up and will not be going back for more.
