Exactly What I Needed in my War vs. Bears
Black bears have discovered my chicken feed bin. Have always used galvanized steel cans with success. But no more. This year’s bears pummel and roll it until the top pops off. Was concerned this might not be large enough for my needs but it has plenty of capacity. Great design and build. Of course, nothing is bear proof, but I am optimistic about the level of bear resistance in this product. Satisfied purchaser, hoping the rodents don’t decide to chew through it.

Keeps bugs and mice out
We live in the woods, so we have a serious issue with keeping critters out of our animal food. I have one of these for dog food, one for cat food, and one for bird feed. They work great. I do warn they are not always completely water proof, so I do not suggest you put them outside to be rained on. I have two on my porch that are covered. They keep everything fresh and are very sturdy.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Love this food vault for dog food! It's big enough to store our 35 pound bag of kibble and secure enough to keep the food fresh!

Nice Product-recommend
Product is made well and seals tightly. Although seems a bit high in cost, everything is. Recommend this if you are looking for a fairly large dog food or as I use it, Black Oil Sunflower Seed storage container. May buy a smaller size for other bird seeds.

Practical, but sort of hard to open at times.
This keeps my smart poodle from getting into the food. It's a little hard to twist, at times.

Should’ve bought it sooner
Fantastic! We were having a mice problem, because of our dog food. We bought this, trapped the mice. And we haven’t had a problem since.I should’ve bought it sooner!Dog food is fresher in it, and it fits a massive bag of dog food.
