EasyCare FounTec Algaecide and Clarifier, 8 oz. Bottle

It WORKS!!Keeps my fountain clear of algae! Used last summer and didn’t have to scrub it clean this spring when i set it up after winter. Keeps the water sparkling! Safe for birds!

I use this in the summer for my birdbath because the algae grows like crazy in the sun. Please be aware that this IS NOT a birdbath cleaner...you'll still have to clean from dirt, mud, dropped seeds, leaves, etc. I clean mine out about once a week, using vinegar diluted with water, scrub it and the decorative rocks really well, then rinse multiple times and refill. When I start refilling it, I pour a few drops of this (amounts are on the back of the bottle) under the hose, and it keeps the birdbath algae-free for weeks! Awesome product! :)

Great product. It keeps my fountain crystal clear for days, especially during the hot summer days!! Fleur de Lis Garden Ornaments in Olympia, WA recommended it when they set up my Fountain.

This works great for both of my fountains and prevents any green algae or slime from forming. Birds drink out of my fountains and this is harmless to any wildlife.

I have been using Aquascape products for the past three years - Liquid Clean product, which goes through a pump system, and supplementing with Ecoblast, which addresses string algae. There was always a green residue on some of the rocks and I’ve been having to use the granular Ecoblast every week. Too many chemicals and it would become dirty within a day.We put the appropriate amount of this product in the pond and it has never been more clean!!One step and you’ve got a clean pond!! So happy with the product and result!

This product is amazing - keeps the water in my fountain so clear.

But unfortunately I still see a lot of allergy so. It does not work that well. It works but I think I'll go with another product next time

I've used this product for several years and it works great in the outdoor fountain on my patio. It only takes 1 or 2 drops per gallon of water. I'm in a warm humid climate in Arkansas and have no problems with algae while using this product. I also have dogs who regularly drink from the fountain so I can verify this is not toxic to pets when diluted in water according to the directions.
