Watkins All Natural Original Gourmet Baking Vanilla, with Pure Vanilla Extract, 11 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) - Packaging May Vary

I use this Wilton clear vanilla primarily for decorating sugar cookies. Keeping icing bright and white is important. Traditional vanilla extract tends to tint royal icing a beige or off-white color, but this clear version keeps everything looking crisp and clean.Flavor-wise, it's definitely an imitation vanilla, so it doesn’t have the depth or warmth of pure vanilla extract. That said, it still adds a sweet, pleasant vanilla scent and taste—especially once mixed into icing or baked goods. It’s ideal when color matters more than complexity of flavor.Another plus is that the bottle has a narrow spout which helps control the pour and avoid waste. A little goes a long way. I've had no issues with separation or off smells, and the shelf life is awesome.Overall, this is a must-have in my bsking toolkit. First of all I haven't even opened it much less tried to bake with it so I'm just going to go on blind faith that it will be as good as the other Watkins Vanilla Extract which I purchased from a Watkins distributor years ago...and BTW Vanilla Extract does not have an expiration date as it never goes bad. But the thing that baffled me was the cap was just rolling around in the shipping box! Good thing the inner foil seal was still on tight on the bottle itself! There's just no way it could have become unscrewed and fallen off in shipping! I mention this because that very same issue has been mentioned here before!

Good flavor - not too strong. There are some recipes that are best with a clear vanilla rather than the brown kind. This is perfect when you need a clear vanilla flavoring. Large bottle too.

Excellent vanilla extract. This is a family favorite so we always keep it on hand. No artificial vanilla for our baking! This is the real deal. Smells and tastes so good. Amazon has a much better price on it than purchasing it in our little town. We use about a bottle a month so you know it's a favorite! Highly recommend!

Excellent quality vanilla that works just as well for cooked and uncooked goods without losing any flavor. We buy 1-2 a month at least (a lot of baking goes on here), but every time it gets shipped to us it either doesn’t have a lid or the lid is off and its only sealed by the plastic seal on top. It’s gotten to the point where we keep our lids when we throw the bottle away

This stuff tastes great and makes a difference unlike other cheaper stuff - cant always find it at the market but its always easy to get it here

Tastes like rootbeer. I made a rootbeer float pie and just that added rootbeer flavor helped

I used it for one recipe so far and seemed to be really good so I’m happy with it
