This Serrano ham is delicious and high quality! It comes with a wooden stand and knife, which made slicing super convenient. It was the highlight of our family gathering. Rich flavor and great presentation. Totally worth it!

This was just fantastic! I bought it for my birthday, and did not regret it at all. It was hard to make a dent in it, but with a lot of effort from numerous people, we eventually got there inasmuch as we had to turn the jamón and start cutting on the thin side.The stand works well, the knife was sharp and we were able to make some quite nice thin slices out of it.I’m really glad I got it, and I’m probably in the market for another one for my birthday next year too! Highly recommended.

Okay, so the product arrived in a box in excellent condition. I've spent quite a bit of time in Spain, enjoying tapas and bocadillos pretty much every day while I'm there. As I think most people reading these reviews already know, there are multiple types and grades of Spanish hams, and this is a mid-grade Serrano ham and priced accordingly. The product comes vacuum packed and it has a rope and bag so that you can hang the ham in a cool dry place for keeping. Back to the quality, there are a couple of dry areas in my ham and the texture can be a bit tough if you don't get your slices paper thin, but the taste is truly wonderful when you slice it correctly. It's delicious nutty, buttery and meaty. Just so you know, the knife that comes with it isn't particularly good, so I bought a good kit to help with prepping and slicing. Based on my experience so far, I will by this ham again. Overall rating would be 4.5 stars because of the poor knife included in the kit.

Absolutely amazing. My friends and I have sought after one of these for months. After being in Italy and having prosciutto cut right off of the leg at a friends house, and having a similar situation in Paris, we wanted to be the cool ham-people too lol. But I was hesitant to grab one of these offline, because though it looks remarkable, I was hesitant on what the flavor would be like after being a bit spoiled. But I thought, if it sucks, at least it’s going to be fun. But I was SHOCKED! This tasted AMAZING, and the fat was mostly just on the outer, when carved up there was low fat content and veins, and just several pound bags of meat. This was an amazing deal money wise, activity wise, and taste wise. Will be buying again in a few months once this one is through! Lol

Good taste, reasonable price, better than USA products.

This product arrived coded in a thick slime that smelled like body odor. I tried to return it, and the seller said that it was supposed to be covered in that thick grease. It was completely disgusting. It was so expensive that I tried to scrape and wash off the thick grease, but it did nothing to help. The seller was rude and also told me this is what I should expect and would not refund the over $200 that I paid for this. I basically threw $200 in the trash by purchasing this product and I hope that you do not do the same.

Si quieres gastar mil dólares tienes jamón Pata Negra, si gastas 200 tienes un buen Jamón, no será el mejor, pero es el segundo que compro este año y es rico, ah y soy Español así que se de que hablo. Editado el 30/11/2014 compre dos mas para este fin de año y reitero que, no sera pata negra (muchos no sabran de que hablo) pero es comible y muy rico.Ah... y no los conozco ni recibo comision o regalos.

Just came from Spain. Wanted to enjoy the jarmon here. Granted Serrano is lowest grade, but although good flavor, way too much fat waste and fat too difficult to chew. Well packaged though. Will buy higher grade next time.
