Well I was looking at this light and all of a sudden it went down in price - so I jumped on it and bought it. It clamps on to the handle, folds down and lights up my grill area. I have been using a flashlight and a Miner's light on my head to get through the dark grilling. This light is PERFECT. Works great, reasonably, priced and waterproof. I am SOLD!!

Arrived in perfect shape in box that will double as a storage container when light is not in use. Small Phillips head screwdriver enclosed with light allows for convenient opening of battery compartment. Mounting and use instructions are very clear. Light easily mounted to my Weber Grill’s handle and is easily adjusted to light the grilling area. Cannot yet comment in its weatherproof factor or water resistance (it hasn’t rained or gone below freezing here yet) but it brightness is all that I could ask for.I very highly recommend this product.

I've done enough grilling after the sun has gone down to really need something to light up the grill surface (the moon just wasn't cutting it). This item seemed to fit the need perfectly. It arrived in sturdy packaging from the manufacturer (the amazon box itself was a bit beat up) and I immediately removed it to get it on the grill.Pros:The light has multiple intensities which look to be great depending upon the darkness level.It fits snugly on the handle of my grill, and still allows me to have my grill cover over the entire grill.The light is flexible to be able to maneuver it to light any portion of the grill.Cons:The item requires batteries, which do not come with the product (not a big con, as I've always got AA batteries on hand, but it would be nice to get them with the product).While it fits nicely on the handle and still allows me to place the cover on my grill, it does stick out from the grill handle a bit. I'll have to experiment to see if I can't get a better fit to work for that.Had to read the instructions (if you can believe that) to figure out how to turn the light on/off. It's not described really well in the set of instructions I received, but learned quickly that you just need to tap the logo. Again, not a big con, but I had no clue until I read the instructions.My biggest con with this is that instructions say I should not keep this outside and that I should remove it from the grill and bring inside when not in use. This defeats a lot of the purpose for having it on the grill for me. I'm planning on keeping it outside (even in the Florida heat and humidity), anyway. Hopefully this will not cause an issue. This con is the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

This light is perfect for my Traeger smoker.The light is bright and it appears to be well made.I haven’t had it long enough to determine how long it will last, but it did happen to lightly rain the first night I used it. After checking the battery compartment, it was still dry.I have it set so it swivels out to shine light on the grill, then swivels and tucks back while closed.With a simple thumb screw I’m able to quickly detach it before putting the cover back on when I’m done.I’m sure I could leave it on with the cover, but I don’t want the thumb screw to possibly tear the cover, so out of over precaution I remove it and store it in the pellet tray.Definitely recommend this product!

I’ve used the light a handful of times now, and it’s mostly been a great light. Grilling in the dark is no longer an inconvenience. This light illuminates my 5 burner grill like it’s mid day. It’s super easy to install on the lid handle, and the multiple pivots allow you to angle it in every possible direction.I am on my second light because the first one broke at one of the pivots, but the customer service was outstanding. I can honestly say that it was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had, and I’m fortunate enough to have had a few. When it broke, I sent Cave Tools an email with two pictures of the broken unit and I received a response within 24 hrs. Once I provided my address, I received a new light in 3 days. Hopefully this one will hold up better than the first.

Worked great was able to cook late at night

The light doesn’t turn off. It’s just like everyone said. I figured some time went by since someone posted about it, so maybe they fixed the issue, but that wasn’t to be. It’s a great little light and I really wanted to like it, but since it just doesn’t turn off when you press it, I just can’t. It worked the first several times I lightly touched it, but after that (and on my first use mind you) it wouldn’t turn off until I took the batteries out. Packing it up and shipping it back. Great light, but they need to remedy this huge issue.

I bought this for my son-in-law for Christmas since he works long days and loves to grill but usually gets home after dark. He loves it! His girlfriend had actually purchased him a grill light that would not fit on the bar he has on his grill so they were very excited and that they happened to get another one that works! I tested it and put batteries in before I wrapped it up for him and thought it was very bright. I love that you can tap the top of the light to turn it on and off and also to increase the brightness. That is fantastic when your hands we have barbecue sauce or chicken or who knows what else on them. It was packaged very well with foam fitting the item snugly and I was very impressed with the quality. I would definitely buy it again.
