As already stated by other reviewers, not the cheapest product but you do get quality and ease of use. The stands follow the same design principle as their master stands, with air suspension (no rapid descent), multiple-stand inter-locking feature and standard brass attachment point, with no sharp edges or trapped finger hazards. Therefore they can also be used as lighting/equipment stands in their own right. The bar is quite substantial and seems easily strong enough, even on full extension. The supplied spring-clamps have screw and brass fittings that would allow them to attach directly to stands or other grips (to support reflectors etc). The carry bag is well made with a double-ended zip fastener, everything fits in comfortably and can be secured by a Velcro strap. Externally there's an adjustable shoulder strap, carry handle on one end and a loop on the body (might be handy if you needed to use the bag as a ballast weight). Highly recommended.

I spent quite a bit of time looking into various photo background support systems, and finally decided that the Manfrotto set appeared to be ideal for the task. Not the cheapest (although I got a good deal here on Amazon - some places are selling it at quite a bit more), but you get what you pay for. Have now used it a couple of times and it's performed perfectly. All of the supplied kit is of a high quality, and it seems to be durable. I expect it to last for many years. Recommended.

Absolutely fantastic!!! Really portable and ourstanding quality!!! Manfrotto products are the best, I reckon!!

Bought these for my daughter. She finds them very easy to erect and easy to take down for storage. The adjustable pole is really worth having as you can adapt it to the size of the room.

We used the stand at our Quilt show earlier this month it`s so much better than the original wooden ones! Further purchases are being considered by my patchwork group
