Great guide to sailing. It’s easy to read, and comprehensive. It can be used as a reference, but is also fun to just sit and read. Delivered promptly and in excellent condition.

This is a textbook on sailing. If you want heavy details like you would expect in a university graduate level course textbook except about sailing, here it is. Lots of information - almost overwhelming amount of information. If you want a single source for all things sailing, this has to be a solid choice.

I can’t believe this book is only $18. It’s easily a $30+ book. Filled to the brim with information for new and novice sailers. Excellent value.

Well, perhaps not everything, but pretty close! I keep this book in my sailboat for reference and reading when I'm there to relax or become a better sailor. It has so many pictures and diagrams which are so handy for this subject. Even if you don't have this in a boat, it's great for a coffee table centerpiece.

I bought it for my husband who wants to take sailing lessons again. It’s more of a child’s book honestly. The way it is written and illustrated. It really would not be a great benefit to someone that’s learning to sail.It almost looks like a child’s picture dictionary. It’s beautiful. But if you want a serious sailing book. I’m not sure this is it.

I am about 85 pages in and have found the book to be highly engaging. It has great pictures, a complete glossary, and it's presented in a logical order with appropriate progression. I have learned quite a bit that I probably should have before going afloat last summer, and can't wait to try out the new knowledge...fingers crossed for ready translation into skills!

Excellent edition. It has information on pretty much every aspect of sailing. Recommended.
