Check that the QDs are secure...
It seems like it'll work fine as a sling.The quick disconnects probably work fine if you have something to mount the provided mounts to, but I intended to use them in the QD mount on the front of my Ruger 556, and that's no good at all. They appear to fit, but it's not right, and they pull out under the slightest pressure.

Very easy to mount and adjust. Swivel rings keep the sling out of the way!

I've been using this sling for a while, and overall, it’s been good and comfortable. However, I did find it a bit too long and had some difficulty adjusting it to my needs. Despite this, it remains a solid choice and performs well.

Good deal and had great mounts. Had to adjust size but it’s as expected just had to mess with the length they give you plenty to fit large or small and the mounts are quality
