Relief at Last!
I had hearing aids, they fit well but the improvement in my hearing was only marginal. The background noise was a greater problem. I thought about these and for the price, they were definitely worth the chance. This is what I love about them:1. They are adjustable, I can turn the sound up and down at my preference2. The batteries are build in, I don't have to keep changing them; big plus3. The are easy to charge and handle4. I went out to dinner and could hear my friends talking in a noisy restaurant!5. The case that comes with them is nice, it zips on three sides and is a very nice quality.6. I can actually wear just one sometimes, one ear is great the other is the problem and this adjusts wonderfully. This is what I'm not so crazy about:1. Although they give several different sizes of ear plugs, they are still a bit large for my use.2. They fit will but are just a bit larger than I like3. This is just me being picky: the little circular case they fit in is great but its frustrating getting the top off. These are worth every penny I spent on them and I will have a back-up pair soon. If I turn them up too loud I hear static and that's fixed with a quick adjustment.

Would buy again
Well where do I begin first of all the hearing aids seem very similar to very high price hearing aids beginning at $4,000 and above I belong to a senior group and typically we've all compared hearing aids so that is a good thing the instructions are very limited there is no customer service number these recharge in a USB port similar to your smartphone or a cell phone no batteries to buy again a good thing there are a variety of earbuds that attaches to the wire that's the thing you place in your ear no I'm a big guy and have big ears so that's been interesting. The volume control is very small and it's a little tricky it takes you 2 or 3 days figure out exactly how they work and just keep trying them. Have someone with you to Tinker with him I did a buddy of mine assisted and it's just handier I would buy again also I think many people have hearing aids they do not wear for $45 try these out it's much better to spend $45 then 4000. I can hear very well with him. They do and provide everything they are of course from China the instruction booklet is it a little bit larger than a postage stamp LOL. Good luck

I liked the idea of recharging the batteries
This review is the same as the others and I wish I had read them before I purchased this. I liked the idea of recharging the batteries, because it can be costly to buy new ones so frequently, but they don't hold a charge. The sound was really bad, when they worked. They stopped working after about an hour. I'm not sure if I have the time to return these, since this is the holiday season and on top of that we recently moved and are renovating our new home. I purchased another brand that had good reviews and cost a little over $300 for one hearing amp. It works very well and I am pleased with it, but I do have to purchase batteries. I plan to buy another one, after the holidays.

You get what you pay for
Like most people I read the reviews, both negative and positive and took the chance on these. When my Granmother received these only one of them worked. She thought she was doing something wrong. I called Amazon and received a replacement pair. This time both of them worked. So, basically it's a hit or miss with these. I will say that they do help her a lot and will work until she receives her hearing aids. They are an affordable option to regular hearing aids, although if they do not work you're out of luck. I'm not sure if I would recommend these based off of my experience. Although, they are simple enough for my grandmother to use. Charging them was fast and easy for her. So, if you want to take a chance on these Amazon will make it right if they do not work.

For the money, so far so good.
My wife has been using these since Christmas 2017 and they are wonderful for the money. I'll come back here to update as time goes by as I'm expecting the non-changeable batteries will start to fail but so far if you are hard of hearing you need these. Most people are paying $1000 to $2000 for something close to the same functionality that these are, so for the price you need to check these out.I have great hearing and had to help my wife get these setup. I was surprised at how well they sounded. The problem is they amplify everything, it gets to be audio overload when sitting in a noisy restaurant. She asks me "Is this what you are hearing all the time?" I say yes. She asks, "How do you deal with it". LOL, She's wanting to go to the movies once to try them out there since she missed what people were saying before. We have to have the closed captioning on at home on our TV. I sometimes miss what they are saying at the movies because the audio gets so quiet, but when there is action going on the sound is so loud you think the people in the next theater can hear your movie. I've stopped seeing movies because I'm spoiled on the closed captioning now.So far, she's happy with them.

Huuuge!!
Amplifies, but without a way to fine-tune them. These instruments are huge and , to boot, have shiny, copper accents. They say, "hello", to those around you, before you do. The ear buds are also huge and one set it stiff, hard, plastic! I was in shock, when I took these out of the box, but I was desperate and had to be able to hear the voice of a woman who was sick and could not talk above a whisper, so I kept them. I'll donate them to a senior home and pray that they don't cause the physical pain I suffered from attempting to wear them (I had to use them without the huge tips, so my abnormally small ear canals were abused!)I would not recommend these.
