Super! Did not disappoint.
I've been a fan of this series for nearly 20 years. I got hooked due to friends telling me to watch the show. I had been meaning to watch Dragon Ball Super when it first aired but never got around to it. I did watch Battle of the Gods & the Frieza movie at the cinema a few years ago but I had more or less forgot what happened in them by the time I watched the first episode of DB Super.Having never bought or even seen a single episode I figured at $155 for a box-set this seemed like a great opportunity to finally sit down and watch the whole series. I found the first disc a bit of a drag if I am honest. Fell asleep a number of times but didn't feel the need to rewind. From then on I felt each disc the series started to get better and better. Was it as good as Z? Probably not. But I felt it was what GT ought to have been (sorry if you were a fan of that!)Gohan and Vegeta were fairly disappointing characters at the start but improved massively as the series went on. Whereas the newer characters, I didn't warm too much. From the annoying space ranger to the destructive god who would talk about food, all, the, time... but again, I got used to putting up with them and the last 2 discs made me forget about my early annoyances.Might be some time before I plan on ever re-watching it but I felt I got my moneys worth. As for the DVDs themselves. Item came well packaged, undamaged and a great storage case for the discs. The "Marathon" option was a great way to binge watch them (my wife was busy for a few weeks so I made the most of my free time!) Even though they would have a "recap" segment each episode, that helped me for the times I fell asleep at the start!Overall I enjoyed it. I stayed away from spoilers. I did not read any reviews. I had watched a few of the films that the early Super seasons revolved around. I kept my expectations fairly low and although the violence/blood probably got removed from these episodes, that doesn't bother me as much as it might for other people. A great addition to DBZ series.

Dragon Ball Super steel book is amazing. Delivery not so much.
The item is amazing just as i was hoping. BUT... normally don't complain about anything but the driver left it out in the open and not on the enclosed porch like every other package I usually receive. The rain soaked the box. Luckily the steel book was wrapped in plastic so they didn't get damaged but that could have been a very bad day. Otherwise the Dragon Ball Super steel book collection is gorgeous!

Well packaged set!
I havent watched the BluRays yet, but the package is awesome. All the stealbooks sit snugly in the main case and don't rub against eachother. The discs in the cases were all held and had not fallen out.

I got this for my son for his Birthday. This set is perfect. Highly Recommended. And the best packing of any shipment from Amazon that I have received to this point.

Beautiful Steelbook Case, Small Dent
Steelbooks and display case look great. My copy arrived with a small dent in the side, but fortunately it is unnoticeable unless examining closely.

Great collection and arrived with no damage.
Great steelbook collection and was able to grab it on sales. Also happy to say that Amazon did a great job shipping this. It arrived in two boxes, with the inner box providing support so it didn't bounce around during shipping.

PERFECT
Amazon did an EXEMPLARY job packaging this in such a way that it would arrive safely.I’ve never seen “Super”.. I grew up watching “Dragon Ball Z” when it was airing on Television, then I discovered “GT” as I got a bit older and could REALLY appreciate it. I sort of held this begrudging bit of resentment towards “Super” for trying to essentially re-write what I saw as the perfect epilogue to a legendary story told through “Z”. “Z”, as you may have forgotten, was axiomatically different from “Dragon Ball”. “GT” had every right to stray just as far from its predecessor.Alas, here I am. I’ve given in to seeing “Super”. As should all of you who haven’t yet given it a chance either, for whatever reasons you may have.P.S. I snagged this for an absolute bargain at $120.00. Get it while it lasts.
