... first scroll saw and have already made some really nice pieces, would highly recommend
my first scroll saw and have already made some really nice pieces, would highly recommend. I also bought some good quality blades and they make all the difference, plenty of info about blades and uses on youtube. Arrived on time, package good. wished I got one ages ago.

Sturdy quiet machine but adaptor for pinless blades leaves a lot to be desired
A sturdy quiet machine that was delivered promptly. Instructions are written in English (not Pidgin or just diagrams). A few more hints for the absolute beginner would have been useful. The only downside is that the adaptor which allows pinless blades to be used is very fiddly. Feeding a blade through a small hole (to do internal cuts) and then then trying to connect to the other end of the adaptor is nearly impossible, unless I am missing something. If so it needs to be in the instructions. Other machines at this price may have the same problem but it may be worth checking if the intention is to do a lot of internal cutting.Apart from this, I am pleased with the machine.

It runs backwards!
The motor on mine is running backwards. You would not notice while scroll cutting but it becomes apparent when using the flexi shaft. When using a cutting disk, the disk retaining screw loosens and the disk comes loose. The tool rotates in the opposite direction the the arrow on the tool holder. Drill bits rotate in the wrong direction, they cannot actually cut a hole!

Wish I bought this years ago!
A vast improvement on my old scroll saw. Easy to use, accurate, solidly built, and good value for money.
