Q: can these be walked on fitted to a battened roof

My tiles are mounted on to a solid wood base but I see no reason why you could not walk with care on them if they where screwed to a batten. They will flex a little but won't break like a natural slate. I personally have only used them on outbuildings but given the opportunity I would confidently use them on my house roof as once installed are totally maintenance free.
