This Chinese tea tastes awful! It's nothing close to the typical Chinese restaurant tea I've enjoyed at every Chinese restaurant I've been to, in multiple states, over the course of my life so far! (As an, AARP card carrier for a couple of decades now, that adds up to lots of restaurants and a ton of tea!)For those looking for that classic Chinese restaurant tea taste I found (And recommend) Original Kari-Out Oolong Chinese Tea available here on, Amazon. I don't think this brand tastes like the restaurant tea. I found it unpleasantly bitter (not the good kind of bitter) Perhaps I got an off batch. I brewed different times 1 min, 2 min, 3 min. I left it in for 5min. I tried different water temperatures. I've had it black and with some sugar. Still there was a lingering back note of an off-bitter that lingers. I have drunk many teas and coffee black and I like bitter tastes, so it is not a matter of being sensitive to bitter. The box came undamaged and the expiration is not past due. Looking at the reviews some people might like it which is why I gave this 3 stars rather than 2. It very well could have been just a bad batch.

Was looking for a great tea that I had at a local Thai restaurant, this is pretty close to it. It’s very crisp and has a really great taste.
