I have a very chunky baby and we use this on friction rashes on her neck and behind her knees. It clears it up within a few uses and I swear by this stuff. Due to the strong smell I don’t use it in her diaper area. She has sensitive skin and usually uses unscented lotions and soaps but this is very gentle on her. It’s definitely got that A&D smell that’s reminiscent of a tattoo shop lol. But if the smell doesn’t bug ya this product is a must have in your changing station.

I have used this for years. I like the ointment better than the lotion as it stays on longer and lasts longer however, if you’re looking for something that’s going to absorb in and not sit on top of the skin get the lotion variety. The only thing I wish the company could do is change the fragrance or make it fragrance free.

A clean anus and a liberal external application of A & D ointment prevents sore, dry skin and painful hemorrhoids. I use very soft sturdy toilet tissue and about yard length. I fold it a third back on it's self, the other third over it. Take this length and keep folding in thirds until the length is 5 to 6 inches long. Put a good dollop in the center of the tissue. (Imagine your hemorrhoid area) Stand and carefully balancing the tissue reach behind and press the dollop on tissue to the hemorrhoids slowly making sure it is under as well as on top. Do NOT release the holding the tissue until underwear is firmly adjusted to hold the tissue in place. Remember the loaded tissue is top heavy and will want to flip over while maneuvering. This will aid hemorrhoid healing and pain and stop the mess you deal with evacuating. It's a greased chute! It is really helpful keeping clean if you have a bidet! ( Anywhere from $120-225) Purchased easily on the internet and installed to toilet following directions. Cheapest is not the best criteria and if in doubt, hire a plumber! You don't want water leaks nor problems with a toilet. Often, daily, used. Not a toy! Water damage is VERY avoidable and VERY expensive! I have never had trouble and a friend with untrained kids who had LOTS of trouble and perhaps untrained herself. 01/23/25

This is incredible. I had tried so many other brands and they took a long time to remove my baby's irritation, but this one is practically instantaneous.

I have been searching for something to moisten my hands which have been cracked, dry and ends up painful. I read that Vitamin D is good for dry skin, so I decided to give this product a try. Yep, it worked for me. I put it on before bed and the next morning, I could tell a difference. My hands were much softer and no where near as dry/cracked. I know this says it works as a skin protectant and even for diaper rash, but it has helped my hands a lot. It is a bit greasy…so a little goes a long way or you will be wiping some off if you use too much. This stuff works!!!

I mean what else to say!? This is an staple in a household especially if you have kids or babies. I had a brush burn on my private area. Once received, I put the payment on 3xs a day. After the 1st I felt the relief. You think I cared I smelled of a&d? Nope. I was relieved. Now I know how babies feel w diaper rashes. Great product.

This product works great and skin and helps greatly to treat and prevent diaper rash. I docked it one star though because it was so incredibly difficult to get the ointment out of the tube. I had to apply a lot of pressure to squeeze it out.
