The dogs love it, but I sure wouldn't eat it!
This is a good brand of dog food and our two eat it with gusto. I'm sold on the benefits of a diet that includes a lot of sustainable fish and this dog food is packed with fish. I don't really like the strongly fishy smell, but then its not for me. I try to give it to the dogs at least two or three times a week, varying it with turkey or chicken recipe dog foods. Wellness has been a very satisfactory product, Our dogs like it, have no problems digesting it, and seem to benefit from eating a fair amount of fish. I have noticed that there are typically one or two cans that are fairly badly dented in each case I buy. I attribute that to the shipping process, but I've started thinking that this occurs frequently enough that perhaps I need to go back to buying locally and not having to worry about damage caused by shipping.

This is quality dog food
Other than the smell (which really only lasts a little while) the food is really quality for our dog. She loves it. My daughter's dog also loves this food. Based on the ingredients, it has the right stuff to keep a dog healthy and happy. My dog's coat has really improved since I started using this for her. I have also tried the turkey and my dog loves that as well. I don't have to coax her into eating. It's a little pricey but worth it when you know your loved pet is getting quality food.

Exceptional quality
The dog we adopted had mange, was a stray, had just gotten fixed, had kennel cough, and wss generally in bad shape. She was missing a lot of fur on her ears and in the stub where her left hind leg used to be.She didn't eat for a couple of days, but after that, she cannot get enough of this food. She will lick the bowl for a period after it's all gone, trying to get every lasy piece. In the past two weeks, she is more hydrated, more active, and the fur has already started growing back in the missing patches. The food is very expensive but it seems to be doing great things for our dog.

My girl was crazy about the whitefish!
I used to get the weight control to add to dry food for both my dogs, in order to add water to get one of my dogs to get a little more hydration. They both scarf it down and lick to bowl to get every bit.But one of my dogs, my boy, has been throwing up with some consistency for a couple months. My vet recommended switching to fish based food so it would be easier on his stomach (it wasn’t till I ordered these that I noticed that chicken was the top ingredient over fish, though may be less that the combination of the seafood ingredients).Well, from the moment I open the can my girl went CRAZY! And every time I got the can out and opened it up she went crazy! She LOVED it. (Both my babies love food of any kind, and my boy showed no difference in how much he liked this over the other variety. He still did his happy spin and then scarfed it down, licking the bowl of every drop.)I was hesitant to order through Amazon after reading reviews about multiple cans dented. But not one of mine was dented, and it seemed fresh. In fact the other variety was ordered through Amazon with no issues either. And with the addition of this mostly seafood based canned food and salmon based dry food, my boy hasn’t thrown up in a couple weeks, where it used to be 1-2 times a week!I hope the amount of chicken in the whitefish variety is not enough to keep my boy’s stomach issues acting up. 🤞🏼

I feel like they pulled a fast one on me...
When I originally started ordering this product it was poultry free. In fact, the cans themselves had that very statement stamped on it.So when it comes time to buy some more I use the "buy it again" option from the previous purchase where I was satisfied. New shipment arrives and I immediately notice a lighter color and slightly thicker. I make a comment to myself about the different consistency but since I ordered the same stuff I got last time I didn't think much of it.Couple days after feeding my dog this different food she starts farting. Horrible creeping megadeath farts. My wife and I can't figure it out since we're feeding our dog the exact same food as always. Finally my wife notices this product is no longer poultry free (in the 12.5 oz cans we have purchased before). I notice the cans no longer have the "poultry free" stamp it once had and the first 3 core ingredients are white fish, chicken, chicken liver...I use to buy this specifically because my dog has allergies to chicken. Why would a company change this? I feel like I was fooled because this food is significantly more expensive than the alternative I already found as I was under the impression it was grain AND poultry free.

Great brand, great food, great price!
We have 3 dogs, one's obese, one's a diabetic and the other suffers from skin allergies so finding a food to meet all of their needs is difficult. This one does it! I can rest assured that they're getting a nutritional meal, the product is made in the USA, and the price is better here than local pet retailers. We mix this in with the Wellness Limited Ingredient dry food. The four stars (instead of 5) is simply because the flavor is not their favorite. However, I use it in a rotation of some other canned food (beef, lamb options) so they do eat it. When I tried using it daily they would leave their bowls hardly touched.

Stinky but apparently delicious
My dog will gobble this stuff up and run around the house grinning with his "fish lips" afterward. I like that this recipe doesn't use sketchy ingredients (the weirdest thing on there is "fish meal" which is the leftover nasty stuff after your fish sticks have been processed), and none of the ingredients are found on the list of known canine carcinogens. Mixing some soft food in with kibble helps prevent bloat, and gives a nice "gravy" for the dog to lap up. Now if only Amazon had Taste of the Wild kibble on Subscribe & Save....
