I have 5 cats of varying size and ages and they all love this scratcher. They took to it right away but the thing that impressed me the most is the fact that with all the use by 5 cats the sisal rope is not unraveling. I am so tired of having to replace cat posts because the sisal rope unravels and becomes a mess with rope hanging off and the cardboard tubes underneath being exposed. I have not had that problem with this post. The rope is holding on tight even with vigorous use. I am so happy with this item.

My cat loves this thing. He weighs 12 lbs and will take running leaps onto it, hanging from the upper half of the pole with his claws. The scratcher does wobble when he does that, but it has never tipped over.The mouse did break off pretty early on, but now he just plays with that as a separate toy, so no harm done. And the ball is still holding strong.

Cats will love scratching this tall post scratcher. If your cat has a long body , she will be able to fully extend toward the top of the post to relax her back muscles. The post is sturdy, the sisal is glued on well and the two toys give kitty something else to play with. My two cats went to it right away and continue to use it. It was easy to put together, and now my cats have a n approved scratching post instead of using my upholstered furniture.

My cats really like this one. Seems to be in a good dimension for them. I think it looks nice in the room, not ratty like some of the carpet ones I have. They can’t or don’t knock it over like the small ones too; very sturdy and they can rip into the string part really well.

For everyone that’s looking for a claw post that is functional and well balanced. This is good! It has all my cats happy with the height. I have some larger cats and even they are pleased with it. It’s perfect.. the toys hanging on it are sturdy and interesting. The cats. I rubbed some catnip on it to draw attention to where I wanted them to claw. I also sprayed some spray catnip. Works and is worth the price!! I had no problems putting it together. Everything was there and there was nothing off about the drilled holes to screw the things in everything was perfect.. I will buy again. I might even gift somebody with this.

My cat absolutely loves it. While I was putting it together she was trying to use it. She is a Maine coon so is a large cat, she sits on the top pad with no problem. It is one of her favorite places, she watches the house from there. I would buy this product again.

Easy to put together. So far my cats love it. It's tall so they can stretch up high while digging their claws in. The base is covered with a furry surface and they love to rub themselves all over that too.

Had a cheaper scratching post that our cat shredded the rope on within a few months.These are more expensive (about $10 more at the time of this writing), but our cat hasn't as much as split the threads on on the rope.
