Low sugar Mars Bar
I’m happy that I bought this box, the bars are very tasty, especially the salted caramel part. The consistency and sweetness isn’t the same as a regular Mars Bar, but it’s a low sugar product and can be expected. That isn’t to suggest that it isn’t sweet….it is, but not as sweet.It’s a very nice alternative to the high sugar content of regular bars and knowing that, it’s tempting to eat more than you normally would 😋

Too sweet, weird texture
These bars taste far too sweet for my taste, and have a weird texture.Not buying again.

Genuinely good
2G sugar per bar, 18G protein per bar, no ridiculously jaw enduring chewiness, no powdery crumbly taste. Thick layer of caramel masks most of the usually tough shell that all protein bars carry. Better than Grenade, Optimum and USN bars I've previously had. I'm also a nut/sesame allergy sufferer and have 0 issues with this bar.

Unpleasant aftertaste
Each bite leaves an unpleasant aftertaste.While the sugar to protein ratios look okay on paper, the end result is an expensive item that is dry, chewy and bitter. I think you are better off having a real Mars bar and adding protein and lowering carbon intake elsewhere in your diet.
