This fan is an excellent fan! It was twice the price of a box fan I also tried, but I have to say it's twice the fan.Quiet! It's delightfully quiet, hardly even qualifying as white noise. The low speeds are just a gentle whisper, not obscuring anything else I might want to hear.I have it set across the room, about 8 feet from my workstation, so the remote control is pretty handy.However, it has an Automatic setting! It's smart enough to ease up from speed 1 to speed 2 and even 3 when the temps start climbing. And it decelerates automatically, as well. That is a great feature!I like the fact that I can shift the direction the fan faces very, very easily (even though it very securely stays how I set it - facing upward, downward, straight on, or turned toward the right or left. I have not wanted it to oscillate, so I'm ignoring that, for now.It's very well built, very sturdy, very solid. I'm not concerned that it's going to get knocked over.My husband assembled it very easily, in 5 little steps. He was impressed with its quality. And the back of that assembly card has a cheat-sheet for the controls, so I folded it and keep it handy in case I want a new setting.I really like the fan - all these features are nice, but I'm still jazzed about how quiet it is.The owner's manual is straightforward and clear.

With the recent heat waves that are overtaking us this summer, I am trying to find ways to keep my energy bill as low as possible. With an open layout home, this can prove difficult especially when you have many large windows. Enter in this fan.First, I want to say that generally I like Dreo products. I have three space heaters designed by them which I love, so I was excited to get this fan because I believe Dreo is good quality. Not only do their products look chic with pleasing metallic accents, but they also perform wonderfully.So far, this fan has been no exception. The power on this thing is amazing. I thought it only had eight settings, however, I was delightfully surprised to see that actually has about 10, including a turbo setting. With my blinds drawn and my AC kept low along with a ceiling fan [the ceiling fan is beautiful but honestly sadly it is more for decoration and air circulation than cooling, hence getting this Dreo], I will never need turbo. I mean, unless I plan to perform a rendition of the Cowboy Carter/Renaissance tour concert in my living room, but she really aint no diiiiva.I checked my thermostat and when it was 96 degrees outside, in my home, with this fan, the thermostat was set to 81 and after turning on the fan at level 4, ten minutes later my inside temperature dropped to 78. Now, I am anemic so 78 is quite comfortable to me, but I imagine for my more hot bodied brethren out there, this will do you just as well.A couple things to note: for being as powerful as it is, the fan is pretty quiet. It's not silent, but at around 6 or 7 is when the wind picks up but still, tolerable levels. There is no rattling, however, so if you are using this in your bedroom it might make for good white noise if that's your thing. This model does not have Wifi, but it does come with a remote. Fair warning, if you are like me with multiple Dreo products, the other remotes work on this too so there may be some confusion there.Overall, I would definitely recommend this and may be considering getting another for my top level floor which is hot as hell year round given how much sun it gets.

Watch out Dyson! As a Dyson fan owner, I almost went that direction with a second fan. I wanted to try this though, as it’s a LOT cheaper. I AM SO GLAD I DID! I got one, loved it so much I’ve since added a second one. It moves air so strongly, and at so many different speeds that there’s no way it doesn’t cool your room, or you. It’s remarkably quiet too. I love that the fan head not only oscillates widely, it moves up and down further covering your cooling needs. Because of its smaller head size, it can blend in a room while still being functional, and the remote control covers every need you have (except the head moving up and down). So glad I found this fan!

I very rarely write reviews, but this fan is so good I have to share my opinion. The materials (durable plastic with a nice finish) and feel of the equipment is very high quality on the fan itself. Remote is a little small, light and insubstantial for my taste, but very straightforward to use. Simple to assemble, sturdy once assembled, very smooth movement when pivoting and automatically oscillating and feels like it has integrity when handling. Fan can blow a lot of air (white noise effect) or very little air (almost no sound) with 10 speed settings. Timer is straightforward to use. Seems like it will last a while.

Powerful and sleek. Very nice design but it does not oscillate from top to bottom as i had hoped. It goes side to side only. Noise is tolerable. Not quiet but not noisy.I placed it 12 feet away from my bed and i can still feel air blowing on maximum fan speed. It stands lowAt atMaximum height it is less than 5 feet tallI can tell it’s made of quality materials not like the cheap plastic kind. Easy to assemble and the remote range is awesome. At 10 feet it stillPicks up the signal

Best fan I’ve ever bought. I loved it so much I bought another one. It’s super quiet and I love that the display goes to sleep. The fan noise is very minimal and is designed to be in a bedroom for light sleepers like me. Perfect. The fan on full power can be felt far across the living room into the kitchen too. Game changer. I’m turning off my AC more often and opening the doors and having this blow the air in the cooler evenings into the house. The remote control is fantastic too. Love that I can change from the kitchen as needed. Also love that I can change the one in my bedroom without getting up. It’s built really well and the design is attractive. I love how they made it easy to pick up and move around. They thought of everything! Assembling was a breeze. This really has helped cool my house down.
