I gotta say, I'm impressed with this Berberine supplement. I snagged a bottle a while back and have been taking it daily ever since. Now, the main reason I grabbed it was curiosity about its blood sugar benefits, but whoa, did it ever curb my appetite!One capsule a day has definitely kept the hanger at bay. I find myself reaching for snacks way less, which is a major win for me. Feeling full for longer means less mindless munching, and that's a game-changer.Since it's been working so well, I'm actually bumping up to two capsules a day to see if it makes a difference. So far, no jitters, stomach woes, or any weird side effects. It's a nice change from some other supplements I've tried.Can't say anything yet about the long-term blood sugar stuff, but just the appetite control alone is a win for me. I'll definitely keep using it and see how things go!

I’m a regular user of Berberine supplements, and after trying a number of other brands, I’ve found that Nutra Science’s Berberine offer the best value for money along with the high quality I’m looking for in a supplement.It’s a small, tasteless and easy to take capsule, and the supply lasts a long time.

The product is great, and is worth taking very pleased with product and service.

People take berberine for all sorts of reasons, and I have little doubt personally about its benefits. We can research the peer-reviewed papers and check with our GPs, but it's just as hard to check the claims made for particular brands. How to evaluate this one's 98% purity claim? Most other Berberine products I've used haven't mentioned purity percentages or given filler percentages - some have claimed much higher bioavailability by binding the berberine to phospholipids, which I think is more important than, say, 5% higher purity (the purity range of 85-95% is more common). Traditional berberine has a low bioavailability and a lot of the dose can pass through the digestive system without being absorbed.The claim that one of these capsules has the equivalent strength of 4 from other brands would pan out ok if the other brands had a much lower dosage per capsule - but the further claim that 98% purity berberine is x2 the strength of most brands doesn't seem to add up: a 500mg capsule with 90% purity would deliver 450mg, not 245mg (half of 490mg)!Some other brands do in fact also claim 98% purity and 500mg in a single capsule, with the same schtick. 500mg in one capsule is a reasonable daily dosage: I would not say high - indeed, some other brands recommend taking TWO 500mg capsules daily (and have the phospholipids-enhanced bioavailability).I would like to have seen certification for the declared testing and manufacturing standards.

Such good value, and overall a good product.

Tasted fine with no nasty side effect, suppressed appetite a little but not sure on long term health benefits as not been using for long. Seems good value for money compared with other brands.

You can tell this is a qualtiy product from the high standard of packing and presentation. Not that this is the be all and end all, but I've noticed that cheap, mass produced, low quality supplements tend to come in generic, easy-to-spot packaging.The supplements themselves are very consistent in weight (I weigh them on sensitive digital scales, to see if they are shoddily filled). They are made to the HCL formulation, which is the Gold standard imo and are 98% pure. 500mg seems to be the recommended dose and each capsule provides exactly this quantity.
