No bleeding or feathering with fountain pen.
I have been looking for a dotted journal that could handle fountain pen without bleeding and feathering. Though the paper is a little rough for a fountain pen, the experience is pleasant. Love the color of the pages and the margins. Since the dots and lines are not too dark, they don't interfere with the writing and yet provide convenient guidelines. Good quality paper for the price. The book sits relatively flat when opened, very little support is needed to hold the papers down when writing. Not sure about the binding though. The binding threads are visible through the paper and seem a little flimsy, but so far the pages haven't fallen off or come loose. For people using fountain pen inks with shimmer, sheen or shade, this paper is not suitable since it absorbs ink very well. So the sheen or shimmer is lost and because of the dark color of the paper the shades are not appreciated. Over all a good find.

Beautiful paper. Excellent binding. Ribbon a bit impractical. A bit bulky however, could have been a lighter binding.
