Works great!
We have several in our office and they look so much better than a bulletin board in my opinion. No more push pins!

Works well
Needed something to hang posters in my toddlers toy room. Works well. This comes with plastic mounting clips and adhesive strips. I would suggest that the double sided adhesive strips be thicker for textured walls. The back isn’t flat, so some of the adhesive doesn’t even touch the wall.

6 Months In - Still Working Well
I recommend this product to those who want to part ways with bulletin boards, as I did. I couldn't find the perfect bulletin board, so I stumbled upon Grip-A-Strips, and after using both a 48" one and a 12" for months, I'm sold. They work just as advertised and I've had no issues with them after having them for perhaps half a year. This rail came with adhesive tape and screws; I decided to use the adhesive tape to fasten the rail to the wall as I knew I would be moving soon and didn't want to mar the wall surface. The tape has held them snugly. As far as what I've been able to fit on the 48" rail, I currently have some magazine articles, some ordinary sheets of paper, a felt banner for an NFL team, a fabric ribbon, and several narrow pieces of paper all supported by this thing. They aren't going anywhere unless I want them to.Very satisfied

Laminated posters?
I bought this item specifically to hang up large laminated posters, but it wasn’t until I was halfway done installing it that I noticed in the instructions it specifically says you need a different product for laminated paper and gives a product number. That product is nowhere to be found on Amazon, their listed website, or Google.I wanted to buy more but I’ll wait to see if the posters hold. I JUST hung them so they look ok now but if they start falling out in a day or two then I’ll have to figure something else out. Also don’t make the mistake I did of snapping in the rail to the plastic hanger to see how it works before it’s in the wall. It was really hard to get it back off the rail to install in the wall and the plastic bit broke a little in the process. Not the greatest mounting system. Real finicky.

Great product, can't imagine life without it
I've own 5 of the 96" unit and 8 of the 48" unit for over 5 years and I can't imagine life without them! Being a photographer, it's super handy to be able to do a bunch of prints and hang on them on the wall. On top of that, I can easily display recent / favorites without having to matte and frame them (which gets expensive). Highly recommended. That being said, there is one downside: if not mounted sufficiently well, they will (eventually) fall of the wall. I've only had this happen with the longer rails when not using the included hardware. I'd suggest using 3/4" or 1" heavy-duty mounting tape. Use rubbing alcohol to ensure that the wall is clean beforehand.

Great for studios
I make a lot of prints, especially now that I have a large format printer, and needed a way to quickly hang some of them up to look at. The Grip-A-Strip was just the thing to allow me quickly change pictures without hassle. It looks good enough to be a way to show my work in a longer range basis too.The rail is very easy to put up and will probably leave very little mark on the wall if you decide to remove it later: just a couple of very small nails hold the locking tabs in place. Insertion of picture and removal are easy as can be. I am putting quite a few of these around the house, not just in the studio.

No way to hang it!
Did not include any mounting hardware or sticky tape as advertised.

Completely effective poster display rail
This works just as described by others. I use it to display 36x36-inch glossy print large format printed posters. It easily holds the weight of these posters and their weight holds them completely unfurled for easy viewing. It took me about 20 minutes to install this - including time to find my tools. My installation was: two holes drilled into the wall at the appropriate height and leveled with one another, plastic anchors placed into holes, brackets screwed in place (into the anchors), and the display rail clipped onto the brackets...Done! One note is that I did use screws & anchors that I had on-hand because the anchors that came with it seemed to be very small.
