I wear a lot of hats, and wanted to add some feathers to the hat bands. These are subtly colorful, beautiful quality and come in various sizes for stacking. I wanted some variety and a few extras in case I lose one or two, and you get quite a few in the package. I get compliments on them frequently and feel they are great quality for the price.

I have collected feathers for years from the field behind our house and finally decided to do something with them. I bought a huge shadow box to display the feathers; maybe too big. I wanted a few more feathers to fill the empty spaces, so ordered these. I didn’t use too many of them, but they added more variety and beauty, and I get compliments now from people who visit. Came quickly, exactly as pictured looks like hawk feathers, whether they are or not. They’re fine for what I need them for sticking in a hat.

This was my second attempt at ordering feathers for quills for a kids' class. I had marginally better succes with this set. I actually did receive 12 feather. 3 were in the 7-8 inch length. The other 9 ranged from 3-7 inches, with around half of those in the 3-5 inch range. This wasn't what I was hoping for, and I am going to have to get creative to have the kids make quills. If you need feathers in the length mentioned, maybe look elsewhere.
