Dude, My Wardrobe Thanks You, Michael Dougherty!
Guys, I was seriously clueless about dressing well until I picked up this book. The Handbook of Men's Style by Michael B. Dougherty just gets it. No stuffy rules from 1950 - this is fresh, practical advice that works in 2025 when nobody knows what to wear anymore. Why This Book Is Worth Every Penny:- Works whether you're a fashion newbie or already know your stuff - zero judgment, just helpful tips- Finally explains how to dress casually but still look like an adult - the "New Casual" section is gold- Tells you exactly what to buy first - that white tee recommendation? Chef's kiss!- Makes suit shopping way less intimidating - I actually understand what "canvassed" means now- Tons of pictures (200+) - perfect for visual learners like me- Cool mix of style icons - shows Donald Glover and Travis Kelce alongside classic guys like Sinatra- Teaches you how to spot quality - saved me from wasting money on garbageThe accessorizing tips completely changed my game without spending a ton. Got three compliments in one week after trying just a few ideas. And the grooming advice? Actually doable for regular guys with jobs and lives - not some 20-step celebrity routine. If you're tired of looking like you're either trying too hard or not trying at all, grab this book. Unlike other style guides I've bought that collect dust, I keep coming back to this one because Dougherty's approach is practical but still current.Makes a killer gift for any guy needing a style upgrade - graduates, newly single friends, or that coworker who still wears square-toed shoes from 2003. The writing is actually funny too, which makes it way more enjoyable than you'd expect. This belongs up the on the shelf next to Take Ivy and Ametora.

Great looking and very useful gift idea
This little gem would make a great coffee table book to peruse but also a great gift or stocking stuffer. Has everything from how to tie bow ties or regulars and best eye glass styles for your face shape …to how to wear a scarf or watch most stylishly.

Big mistake with printing format
The copy of this book is printed upside down and backwards from the hardcover! The information is great but it’s confusing every time I open up the book. This printing job was not done well.

Esquire Handbook of Men’s Ztyle
Great and detailed articles. Good info.Small size. Should be at least 11.5 x 14 if not 11.5 x17. Difficult to see details in pictures. Would’ve paid a few$ extra to have bigger color pictures.

Small Book, Major Wisdom
How does Esquire and its editors manage to pack so much wisdom into a stylish little book? I couldn't tell you. What I can tell you, is I found myself constantly delighted and surprised by the contents of this handbook. It is filled with voice-y commentary on style, images that will inspire you, and incredibly helpful diagrams on things from folding to types of pleats to collared shirts. It takes concepts that can seem daunting and overwhelming and breaks them down in such a readable, digestible way. It also has a really fun mix of historical references and contemporary styling, so you can have a better understanding of where certain trends and styles come from before you choose how you want to adapt them for your own life. I'm sure this is a book I will continue to reference again and again.
