pole seems to be good, but the box (no outer shipping box) was weak, both ends were missing and so was the accessory hook...I want to add an update! Seller went above and beyond any expectation to solve my issue. The product is good, and the Customer Support is outstanding!This was actually an Amazon Logistics issue, but the seller took care of it.Revising to 5*!

This is a very nice, lightweight telescopic pole. Seems to be very well made.

Love this. So much nicer than the aluminum ones that corrode. I was surprised to see it includes a case. There's and included allen wrench to adjust the tension of the over-center clamps so that there is no slipping.

Slides in locked position when closed, even when fully tightened.

My first one came in damaged packaging, and the hook was missing. I contacted the seller and they immediately shipped a replacement. So that was great.This is light weight and extendable I have used on the boat, with my camper, and also at home with our pool to get floats, and other items out of reach.I have also swapped the hook for a window brush to help clean off the RV solar panels. It has been very versatile for me and love how lightweight.It comes with an Allen wrench I did have to use to tighten the friction clips so it would stay in the position I wanted, but only the once so far.

Every Christmas, we string lights on a 15-foot pine tree in the yard. This pole is turning out to be a godsend, letting me hang and adjust the lights from the ground. It's very light, sturdy, non-conductive, and the boat-hook attachment is perfect for pushing and pulling the light strings over and around branches. I'm already thinking of other uses: the standard threaded end will accommodate all kinds of attachments.

I bought this because of the extension ability. I found out quickly that the locking mechanism loosens over time, even after adjusting it several times. There is no stop on the inside end of the poles to keep them from sliding completely out when not tight. The grappling tip also becomes loose. I would not recommend getting this because it would be useless in an emergency situation.
