Ideal for play, easy to charge, ideal as they are rechargeable. Easy to use too. Good value as the price is reasonable.

The walkie talkie is ideal as my mother is house bound and when I am outside in the garden I can't hear if she shouts, she can't use a phone, landline or mobile, so I thought that a walkie talkie would be the thing , if she needs to get me, just press the PTT button to call me, easy, as for the user manual, it's explains all you need but there is no cable with a jack for programming, having said that, It didn't need programming as all the channels are set, having scratched my head wondering how I am going to set these up, I charged the handsets, put both handsets to same channels gave them a try and all worked well, there was no need for programming.

So far so good, We brought these to stay in contact with each other when kayaking, The feel is rather cheap but what do you expect at such a small cost, Apart from that 100%

It would be much better if the instructions told you how to open the unit in order to insert the battery!

These are by far the best PMR446 licence free radios I've bought, and I have quite a few from various manufacturers. I'm getting twice the usual range from these with minimal interference. A couple of things to note... They come from the factory with voice scrambling on, so speech to other walkie talkie brands won't work out of the box. There is no reference to any official programming software, but GitHub provide a python file to do it and you can open it on your computer with a free app called thonny. Then you can change settings with a standard Kenwood connection cable.

Do not connect to Chirp - none of the advertised functions work… returned👀
