perfect iron for quilting group meetings
My wife is a quilter and she wanted a small travel iron that she could bring with her to her quilting group meet ups. She says this iron is great for that purpose. It is small and light weight but it is powerful, heats up fast and has several steam options. It irons well and is easy to transport, even comes with a safety plate.

Best little Iron.
Lightweight iron for crafting. I was using a regular iron in my sewing room and noticed every day after crafting my shoulder would hurt. Once I changed the iron to this one my shoulder pain after crafting day was nonexistent. My only complaint is there is no auto shutoff. I did attach it to a toggle on/off cord. Love the size, Love the holding tray. I use it on a plastic folding table and the holding tray gets warm but no damage to the plastic table after it is on for a couple hours.

Powerful & Portable: Sundu Mini Travel Steam Iron
I was pleasantly surprised by the Sundu Mini Travel Steam Iron from my very first use. With 1000 W of power, it reaches the ideal temperature in under a minute, and thanks to its nonstick soleplate with 300 micro-steam holes, it glides smoothly even over thick fabrics and sewing details. The 3.0 fl oz water tank provides enough capacity for multiple passes, and the safety base ensures stability when set down between uses. Its compact size is perfect for travel as well as quilting or sewing projects. The build quality and ease of handling make it my go-to tool for keeping garments wrinkle-free anywhere.

This iron is a manual STEAM IRON!
That’s right! This small but mighty travel steam iron actually rest (while hot) on its sole plate nestled in its own heat proof rest. And you store in on its sole plate as well (unlike conventional full size irons. There is one drawback to the SUNDU 1000wt Steam Travel Iron. If you want to iron using steam you must do this manually by pudding true steam button forward to e steam and release when you are not needing steam. It’s a small thing and worth the bit of effort to have a small 1000wt steam Orion I can keep next to my in my quilting room. Very convenient that it rest on the sole plate inside its locking base (be mindful, the locking mechanism is not very secure and doesn’t always lock and there is not auto shut off). Seems to be of good quality and weighs only 738. All in all , for the price and the convenience I need, it good buy .

Loved it!
This iron is functional, practical, I love its size because it doesn’t take a lot of space to storage at home and it’s lightweight so I can easily take it with me when I travel. I made sure to try this iron with my linen clothes (which are the most challenging clothes to iron in my closet) but it worked great with the steamer, no leaks and it warms up pretty fast.

This little iron is awesome!
It heats up fast and gets the wrinkles out really well with all the steam it puts out. Super easy to use, and the smooth bottom doesn’t stick to fabric. It’s small enough to take on trips but still works great for sewing and quilting. Just a solid, handy little iron!

The base is not for the iron to rest on only as a holder when iron if
Great little iron for piecework quilting!Saves the many up’s and downs to the ironing board, especially in group quilting. My only disappointment is the holder is of no use during quilting? The iron left on is much tohot/ warm for the plastic holder without melting it. It is only useful as holder, wish it was stated as such.Definitely an inconvenience!

Great value but not for large projects. Good purchase.
Useful for light seam ironing while quilting; not sturdy enough for large work. Stays hot and effective while in use but the cord can bunch up in the way. Recommend taking the time to straighten and sort that out before using for any length of time in a project. Very affordable and great compact size for travel.
