Although good it must be remembered that these mics aren’t aimed at the professional singer. As the listing says they’re for karaoke so won’t be ideal for Adele should she accept a gig at your local church hall.The build quality of this Tonor TW550 is superb, the microphones are nearly all metal. Even when unscrewed to access the volume buttons the battery compartment is all metal. Only the base of the microphone, where the USB C charger connects, is made of plastic. The batteries are not only rechargeable there’s also replaceable with 14650’s from Amazon at around £20.00. Volume is the only control accessible through the mic. Everything else is adjusted through the receiver-apart from the mute button!The receiver is built to the same high standard. The knobs, aerials and buttons feel solid-they give the unit a high end feel of quality. I like the different coloured anti-slip rings so that John doesn’t accidentally pick up Janet’s mic and drown her out. The case follows the mics in being constructed of metal with the face looking sleek with a glass like finish.I took one of the mics to the top of my garden, which is around 180 feet and the receiver picked up my voice easily without it breaking up at all. The sound quality is good-for karaoke and weddings-and for the £99.00 purchase price you get a lot for your money. Should you decide to hire Adele she uses Sennheiser mics-at £800.00; and that’s just for one mic.

This kit is a professional product, with a couple of good sturdy microphones that connect to a very well made wireless receiver unit. I performed a quick test from quite a distance and there was no dropouts in sound from about 80 to 100 feet, so it’ll be good for most stage performances. Primary connection is made via XLR connectors, standard for all professional PA systems, with phono options as well for generic compatibility.Multiple units can be used together as there’s a good choice of what looks to be UHF channels to choose from. The settings buttons are easily accessible on both the receiver and microphone body.Unlike my old stage mic, the microphones are rechargeable rather than having to mess around swapping generic alkaline batteries, although admittedly replaceable batteries do make swapping out power very quick for backstage staff. Should the power die mid performance, it’s not so easy to carry on so I’ll be keeping my old trusted mic ready as a backup.This kit is certainly worth the £100 price at the time of order, that’s for sure. In my opinion it provides a similar experience to much more expensive units from 20 years ago that cost 4 to 5 times the price, so to see this kit available at a fraction of the cost is very impressive.

I picked up the TONOR TW550 Wireless Microphone System with fairly high hopes, mainly off the back of my very positive experience with their TC-777 podcast mic a few years ago. That one punched well above its weight, so I was quietly optimistic that this new set might follow suit. Thankfully, it absolutely does.The kit includes two rechargeable wireless microphones that feel solid and comfortable to hold - not too heavy, not too plasticky. The sound quality is clear and clean, with none of the crackles or dropouts I've had from cheaper sets. The wireless range is much better than I expected, and there's no feedback to speak of, even when we gave them a proper workout with a few '80s karaoke classics (some more tuneful than others).At £99.99, it feels like excellent value for money. You're getting reliable performance, decent battery life, and the convenience of USB-C charging - no hunting around for AA batteries, which is always a bonus.Having two mics is great fun too - especially when my son joins in. The sound's better when we sing together (well, mostly thanks to him), and it's just a good laugh. Whether you're using them for karaoke, family gatherings, small events, or the odd party speech, this set's a solid choice.It's not going to turn you into a professional singer overnight, but it might make you feel like one for a few songs - and that's half the fun.

I've had a few Tonor products in the past, and they mostly make quality microphones. My current PC condenser microphone is actually by Tonor, and sounds fantastic.This is obviously a different product, aimed for karaoke use, which I am not ashamed to admit is something I like to do with my partner from time to time! Our friend has a unit, so we set it up at her place, to give it a blast/annoy her neighbours. Setup was very easy, and it auto-scans to find the correct frequency/channel. Once it's setup, we tested the mics, and their effective range. In the same room as the machine, it was perfect, and sounded very crisp. It doesn't magically make your singing voice sound good, but it does at least provide a transparent signal from your throat to your speakers, for good or for bad! We also tried it in a different room to the karaoke machine, to see if there was any dropout, and it worked great, even on a different floor. Obviously it'll depend on what your house is made of/how thick your walls are, but for our testing, it was very stable.£100 is obviously quite a bit of money to spend on something like this, but if you enjoy karaoke, or need a setup for a PA or something, it's a decent investment, and a quality pair of mics.

This product works well, it is very well made and easy to get set up. The sound is clear and crisp and is perfect for what I needed. Would reccomend.The microphones themselves have some weight to them which shows they are well made and I like that the volume buttons are hidden in the handle to avoid accidentally pressing them when in use.
