HotSpring Tri-X Filter

I used paper filters and switched to these, it was a long term investment considering the expense. They last for 2 years give or take. Clean them with a power washer.

These are really cool and seem to work great. Not sure yet if they are worth the extra money over the paper filters which we used for almost 3 years before replacing with these. Time will tell. Two of three of these arrived broken and damaged, but the seller was great at replacing them without us even having to ship back the damaged ones. Good company! Saved us the trouble and hassle of packing them up. Hated throwing them away (more stuff in our landfills), but it couldn't be helped. You can definitely tell the difference between these and the original paper ones we got with our spa.

I run 5 of these in my hot tub. I clean them once a month and each one lasts years.I'm very happy with them.

Tri X filters don't last. Muast set barely lastsd 2 years. To make it worse, the ones I just ordered came cracked!!! Poor build quality!

First time purchasing and using this filter on my HotSpring Jetsetter. Was a little hesitant because of the price but went ahead and gave it a try. (BTW, buying on Amazon saved me $25 each, not including an additional 7.5% I would have paid in taxes if I bought locally at my pool & spa store (I didn't have to pay for shipping or state taxes).) Fits perfectly (my spa uses 3 filters), and I can tell by the design that I will spend much less time cleaning these filters versus the typical "paper" filters (my first "plus"). Put them in my spa immediately, turned the jets on, and I could notice greater water flow (my next "plus"). Since this filter is made of a more durable material, I feel it will last longer, saving money in the future (my last "plus"). And, finally, because of all of the above, I'll mostly likely clean the filters more often, thus having cleaner, healthier spa water. Don't put off buying this filter because of the price; I believe it's the "Mercedes" of spa filters. Remember, something is only as good as its weakest part; don't let it be your filter! Highly recommend.

replaced one of our older filters (4 years old) with this one and love the new look. The filter material is the same but the overall canister is much nicer looking and feeling that the older ones. Not the cheapest filters but they do such a good job and cleaning them is easy so it's more than worth the extra money.

I ordered two and they arrived securely packaged in a sturdy box with generous bubble wrap. These filters work great in my Grandee HS spa. I wish someone made a good brush sized for this filter's pleats. I'm sure my jamming in a toothbrush cracked one of my old ones.
