Bought to replace rivets in metal door car window mechanism. Relatively easy to use but needs a couple of test goes. Instructions are useless. Good piece of kit otherwise

Look, this thing costs a fraction of what a named brand equivalent does, so set your expectations accordingly…Sure, the instructions are useless and you probably won’t be passing this tool onto your grandkids, but it works.I used it to install M6 inserts in a sheet of aluminum and absolutely no issues whatsoever.

I would like to mention I don't review many items, but I thought I would review this so you don't get in the same situation as I am now. Ordered this Rivet nut tool and Item arrived fast. On arrival, without actually getting the tool out, I just opened parcel to check and all looked OK. I did not need it until a few days later so why try it. My mistake! On the day I need it, I drill the correct size holes for the M6 rivets and open up the rivet tool box. First I find the M6 sheath is missing from the appropriate bag! Maybe I can try another sheath. So continuing I Follow the instructions and try to screw the M6 rivet stem into the gun. Not a chance of screwing it in. I double check if I am screwing in the right end, as the M6 stem thread is a close size to the thread that screws into the gun. No I am doing it correctly. Starting thread looks awful. I try to screw in the M4, then the M5 and then the M8 rivet stems and not one will screw into the gun. So here I am, needing a Rivet nut tool now and I been sent this piece of rubbish. I am returning the item and having to put this job on hold
